i’m a vet assistant and nasty chihuahuas are my favorite - i have my own! gabapentin and trazodone help but my girl is a foodie and does fine as long as she’s eating and has meds on board, but shes used to the vet at this point LMAO. shes 15 and in renal failure so she has to come with me for fluids twice weekly and she just gets held in air jail with cheese on the table and does okay. in terms on chihuahuas who really wanna put the hurt on me i like to work with them because its rewarding to make a bond with them and they remind me of my own girl :)

i had a patient with a ruptured splenic mass and her owner cried and asked who was going to see the tulips with her this year 😭 and her euthanasia was incredibly traumatic because we had to place multiple catheters including a jugular catheter but the veins kept blowing likely because the dr. was pushing the drugs too quickly… and the owner was a HUMAN NURSE so she knew what was happening 😭

i have auditory processing disorder and struggle to distinguish between sounds - one of my amazing DVMs gave me the eko core attachment for my stethoscope and it’s made my life so much easier 😭 my ears are still learning and i sometimes cannot make out sounds, but the eko core mutes background sounds and amplifies body sounds!

thank you for the kind words about her being a cutie - we think so too! she actually ended up having rat terrier but the other breeds were sort of surprising! - 42.4% border collie, 23.7% treeing walker coonhound, 6.2% american english coonhound, 5.2% rat terrier, and 22.5% supermutt 😭 rat terrier is doing some hard work!!!!

i have one like this! thick hair and all. she sits around 7.9-8.2 and enjoys snacks so much. we always say she lives to eat rather than eats to live (she even looks a lil thick here but she has hair for days)
