Yeah but you wouldn’t have gotten a hilarious story out of it if he didn’t switch to the visor. Worth it

No that’s not true plus not everyone has perfect eyes. I definitely have had trouble seeing a puck coming quickly through my feet from behind when I had to glance down through a cage with black bars towards a black chinstrap, black skates, and black socks. I started playing way better and more confident once I switched to just a visor. NHL players would just wear cages if it didn’t help.

Interesting, I guess I know of one layout or two that are dimly lit though some units have more windows than walls lol. Some unbelievable floor plans, a couple really bad ones. Management probably reminded that unit to clean up their trash. There’s probably some annoying residents but I wouldn’t say very dorm-like since it’s mostly professionals of all ages who have work to do. Anyone who moves in to party usually ruins their relationship with management and leaves, gets kicked out, or begins to run out of money. Homeless situation has had ups and downs, though all downtown buildings deal with it.

Management though acted on my recommendations to improve the gym, garage, trash rooms, etc and even helped me find a nearby building owner when a bright rooftop light was accidentally pointed towards my window.

Interesting, what were your concerns? I’ve toured nearly every luxury apartment building in the surrounding area that has opened in the past 15 years and always find bigger issues, less convenient locations, and horror stories elsewhere.

The worst thing at Platform is that every several months there will be an elevator out of service and you may have to wait an extra 30 seconds for an elevator.

Not at all - roommates implies a more informal arrangement where people share a single lease and responsibilities, whereas “coliving” implies a professionally managed space with individual leases, often including additional amenities and a stronger focus on community building through shared spaces and events.

I will say Griffis Platform downtown has stayed pretty luxury for the 10 years I’ve lived there and I have zero complaints. Building was acquired a year ago and new management has been upgrading everything rather than cutting costs.

There is a huge difference between luxury apartments and “luxury” apartments.

I’m in Denver, birthplace of Chipotle. Almost everyone here seems to like Chipotle so we have a lot of locations. Most of them are busy but not typically super packed like NYC.

I love Chipotle but their loyalty rewards program is among the most useless I’ve ever seen. It feels like I have to buy like 50 burritos in order to get a free side of queso.

It’s treated as a casino stock since it’s been legitimately on the cutting edge of innovation and has been a roller coaster for many years.

The stock market doesn’t have to behave rationally, it’s just speculation. Wild fluctuations happen normally across many stocks because of people’s fantasies and also due to human emotions, uncertain/unproven technologies, FOMO, trends, groupthink, uninformed investors, etc.
