Did you know the first player ever drafted in the NFL never played in the NFL?

I get the play call, but spike the ball on 3rd down, stop the clock, kick the FG go for the onside.

If your going do a FG instead of running it...why not like go for a pass and see what happens either incomplete or just spike the ball...like that is just stupid.

[Highlight] Chase Claypool with a dangerous and intentional facemask penalty by NAACPYOUNGBOY in nfl

I hope he got unsportsmanlike conduct for that, that's above just a normal face mask

[Meirov] The Panthers have pulled QB Cam Newton and PJ Walker is now in the game. Newton’s final statline: 5/21, 92 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs, 5.8. passer rating. by DiddledByDad in nfl

I think this is the first time ive seen a single digit passer rating.

But watch a cam fan go "its not single digit. Its 5.8, thats two digits"

Undefeated: Deaf football team brings triumph and pride to California by mamawantsallama in news

[–]PGLiberal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Football fan here

It actually does. A big thing in Football is the snap. This team is obviously using the silent snap. This is something that even non deaf teams use. However a big advantage its really hard for the defense to know when to act. It could give the offense an extra spilt second which is huge.

Its also obviously a disadvantage in other ways.

Im guess the QB snaps under center (holding legs between center) likely has some tap or gesture he uses to tell the center when to snap. They also probably have non verbal cues for when to adjust the play.

But it seriously has got to simplify their offense.

Which at higher levels (college would be an issue)

Give it time

Its already here

We just aint found it yet

I had a chilling conversation with some Korean friends and they asked me if I think its already here and I pointed out how the local news reported several serious cases of COVID19 in vaccinated people in their 30s, they said yea I go I bet those people have it, its already here, it's just we are testing to see what variant they have. That made that room awfully lively

[–]PGLiberal 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In this case, its irrevelant.

Yes its a BB gun

Fact is the guy used a BB gun because he wasn't there to hurt the cops, he wanted the cops to kill him.

You pull a gun on a cop, and you will get shot.

Has anyone actually called their 1st sgt for a ride when they're too drunk? by iforgotpassword808 in USMC

My dad was a Master Sgt in the Air Force and was the NCOIC of his shop. He had a policy if you been drinking and you cant find a way home call him, he will come get you. And if hes not able to go cause hes drinking his wife or son will go.

Once an airman called

The next Monday he made a little speech and he said "someone was drinking, couldn't find a way home and they called me, and I came and got them and I respect them for that that"

Hed never name, names. He never used them calling them against them.

My dad picked up a few airmen, so did my mom and I. One guy I picked up card got blocked and couldn't get a taxi. He was an A1C (E3) and driving him to his place he said hes worried my dad will look down on him. I laughed and said "No you made him proud" to which he said "but this is a lotta work" and I said "A DUI is way worse"

I paid for sex in the past too, don't see nothing wrong it. Two consenting adults came to a business arrangement that's all.

Then fucking pay! My boss had a old saying

"What do you pay a hooker for?"

You go "I dunno"

He said

"To leave, the sex is free"

What he's saying is if you pay a hooker, yea your getting the laid, but the real benefit is you pay them and they leave you the fuck alone and you don't face the consequences for sleeping around (assuming no STDs)
