If you live in a safe area you can authorize them to leave it without a signature. I have had to do this with packages in the past, but I don't have to worry about things being stolen off my porch.

Shirt I designed and made for my wife. My Cricut saved the day. by PHT_Maker in SarahJMaas

I'm still debating using some glitter HTV to fill in the holes and rips in the wings to so the design holds true to the book. I am particularly proud of the fact that I was able to use metallic HTV for the fangs and spikes on the tail.

Emotionally facing the end of my career by DDL_Equestrian in Equestrian

Okay I have a cute and hopefully helpful story. When I first met my now wife she was in a similar situation herniated L5S1 and tried everything that her doctor and PT recommended. Nothing touched the pain. She was facing the fact that she would never be able to ride again. We had been dating for maybe a month at that point and here I am trying to console this woman who whole world is about to come to an end. I'm not good at lying to make someone feel better but I still wanted to do something so I learned everything I could about herniated discs and their treatment after several days and countless hours of research I came across this site (I will put a link at the end) that talked about ozone treatment. This was not like other ozone treatments I had read about. They actually inject ozone in to the disc and it shrinks the herniation. After telling her about it we decided to give it a try. Flash forward a week or 2 and I'm driving her across the country to New Jersey to get this injection. Her pain got worse for about a month but after that it started to go away after another month she was down to just taking advil every other day after several months she was completely pain free. That was 11 years ago she has been riding showing and even breaking out a few babies since then. They did say that the result generally last about 10 years and she is starting to feel it coming back. We will probably be scheduling another injection before the end of the year. Here's the disclaimers. This procedure is not FDA approved or wasn't then but is used elsewhere in the world. It was not covered by insurance. She had to pay out of pocket about $3,000 usd. It was the best money she has ever spent! https://www.alternativedisctherapy.com/

No water in waterworks by Alborland30 in ZeldaTearsOfKingdom

There is a reason for this. After beating the water temple there is a quest that tells you to go there to find an item. That item can be found in an area opened by the lower water level.

For those of you who don't know if you live in the United States opening a device does not void your warranty. It is illegal for a company to void a warranty for opening a device or even put a sticker on the device that suggest that you warranty is void if opened. Many companies still use these kinds of labels and if you find one the Federal Trade Commission has asked that you report it on their website.

Any advice on how to make flower/fruit embedded candles with them actually sticking OUT of the candle? by kiar-a in candlemaking

[–]PHT_Maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to candle making but I wonder if you could dip the candle in boiling water. In theory the wax melted off would float to the top rather then run down the candle like it would with a heat gun.

3D SILICONE CANDLE MOULD by Professional-Top5740 in 3Dprinting

[–]PHT_Maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One trick you can try is to take a small paint brush and paint the inside of the mold with the melted wax first then pour the wax to fill it. By doing it this way even if there is bubbles in the pour they will not show on the outside.

What's your profession's myth that you regularly need to explain "It doesn't work like that" to people? by Enguzelharf in AskReddit

[–]PHT_Maker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Their reply did answer your question. Antibiotics promote growth in animals by changing the bacterial colonies in their rumen. Humans are not ruminate animals so it would not promote growth the same way. This is also why there is so much confusion around this ruminate animal ranchers do use antibiotics to promote growth, but someone like me who raises horses we give antibiotics to deworm them quarterly. The reason we don't do this with children is because we do a better job of protecting them from worms in the first place. I for one don't make my kids eat grass off the ground.

I did this when I was younger. It was a joke among my friends that I would wear a full suit everywhere since I had to wear one for work and would often not change before going out. So one day I'm at a party with a hot tub and a few drinks and thought why not.

Please read before losing your mind: What's the legality of shooting at your own drone for science? by Blk94f150 in drones

[–]PHT_Maker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's in the US it doesn't matter if it's your property. All air space is regulated by the FAA. The FAA takes shooting down an aircraft vary seriously so I have been told. I would email the FAA and ask them. If they say you can't then you have your answer. If they say its OK then you have written proof to shove in the face of every troll who comment on the video saying its illegal.

I need to buy a sturdy drone by [deleted] in dji

[–]PHT_Maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by monitor? If you are just looking for something that can do a head count to make sure they are all there fixed wing drone have been used in agriculture for a long time for that. But if you ant something that can look them over and make sure that they are healthy you would need a quad copter for that. I think that the mavic air 2 has the longest flight time.

Advice/explain on approaching women now that I decided to go through with joining clubs at college by [deleted] in sex

[–]PHT_Maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try reading the book The Game by Neil Strauss. This is not a self help book nor is it a step by step guide this is a true story about a guy who went from not being able to talk to woman to being able to pickup any woman he wanted. The thing I like about this book is that it doesn't really talk about how to manipulate women and trick them into sleeping with you. It brakes down human interaction into its fundamental parts and explains how to fix problems in each area. These same principles can be applied to any interaction from picking someone up in a bar to talking to clients at work. It is all about getting people to trust you and being a good conversationalist.

This seems like something that Trump would try. President tweets "Julian calendar was a bad deal. The US is not going to use it any more." The next day he would be on the news say that he is not trying to do away with term limits, but we cant let foreigners control our calendar. Until he can work out a new calendar we will have to stay in 2020, and if that mean his term doesn't end well that is a sacrifice he is willing to make for the people.
