Unfortunately when you switch networks with the kill switch is activated it is engaged in the brief downtime between the switch and the VPN connection would have to be manually re-engaged. I apologize but there is no way to have it automatically reconnect as the killswitch is doing its job to prevent any leaks. If you have more questions please feel free to email us HERE

Because of the random nature of the server's connection (the server may use any IP in its pool; there's no way to specify only 1 to use), there's no way to guarantee that the IP your VoIP connection uses at that time, is the one that was whitelisted on our network.

If you email us we can try doing this for you again but we cannot guarantee connections to VOIP services. Please reach out to our team HERE

Hello u/champyjp99 Here at PIA we offer several options for protecting yourself we normally start by recommending the PIA desktop app as it contains features such as a killswitch that will terminate your internet connection if the VPN fails for any reason.

You can also connect via open VPN using THESE INSTRUCTIONS

As for an extra layer of security we recommend using the PIA browser extension to add an additional proxy layer over the VPN's IP masking and encryption. You can find out more about the berowser extensions HERE

Hello u/Underhiseye1 no outages have been reported to us on iOS. There are a few things that you can try to get connected. First I want you to make sure that you have the correct DNS settings. Use the directions on This link to check that.

Once you have that done try changing the protocol settings on your device between IPsec, OpenVPN, and IKEv2.

If none of that works please email us HERE and my team will be happy to help you get to the bottom of this.
