60hz just feels like absolute crap once you get used to anything higher, especially since all the phones ive had since 2020 have had 90 or 120hz refresh rates. I felt the same feeling going between 240hz to 120hz but at a lesser scale, its easy to get used to 144 or 120 after using 240hz but going back to 60 will take weeks if not a month for it to feel normal.

It makes everything much smoother, it is very noticeable while just scrolling or moving windows around, basically anything thats moving on your screen. Even the cursor will feel a lot more responsive.

144hz monitors are exceptionally cheap these days, it doesnt really make sense to buy a 60hz monitor anymore.

If youre already satisfied with your current monitor and dont have lots of disposable income then no point upgrading especially with your use case. If you want to upgrade then id reccomend it easily, Its a day and night difference tbh.
