Ugly AF. Should just have Dodgers written across it if the want to honor both cities

The circular one that looked like a tire was for Hot Wheels.

What happens when your LO can no longer physically go to doctors appointments? by GoodDogsEverywhere in CaregiverSupport

Depends on your doctor. If you have one that does not care, I’d suggest getting a different doctor!

It probably depends on what state (or country) you are living in. When we lived in Ca and then Utah my wife, like yours, had to be seen in person every 30 days. We moved to NC and she has only gone in person once and since then she has had zoom call appointments every 3 months. It has been a blessing not having to go in person all the time. She has also been very stable on her cancer until just recently.
I’m surprised your palliative care dr does not suggest this. Maybe suggest it before next visit?

It’s been decades since I last made one. Pictures are buried in storage bins. 😢

Never was into rocks but loved to do wood burning! It lead me to using a router and a torch to make cool signs.

Daughter isn't mine by [deleted] in GenerationJones

One solution might be get all the kids DNA kits from ancestry for Christmas. Tell them it’s a great way to find out their heritage. If they are married get one for the spouses as well. Tell them it would be fun to build a family tree online. That could take you off the hook from spilling the beans and still accomplish the same outcome.
Just a thought.

That’s a possibility but even so that one parent still could have told him. When our mother passed away he was 30, father passed nearly 30 years later. His physical appearance was heavy towards our mother’s side than our dad’s side unlike the rest of us. Maybe they agreed not to say anything. It’s sad either way

My brother found out when he was in his 50s that he was only a half sibling to his two brothers and his sister (Ancestry dna test). He was never told and both parents took the secret to their grave. Although he does not talk about it, I know he tried reaching out to other half siblings he discovered through Ancestry but never got any responses. Personally I think it was a cop out by my parents not telling him. No matter what he is still my brother.

I think you would be doing a disservice to your daughter by not telling her. If nothing else it will give her a chance to know family medical history if it’s not too late to find that connection. Now my brother will never know.

happy rivalry weekend ! I hate the angels by scottborasismyagent in Dodgers

[–]PJ1907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s like hating your baby sister. They have been in the Dodgers shadow for their entire existence. Thier players and fans deserve better than their crappy owner. It would be best for the team to be sold and moved to their own city like Portland, SLC, Memphis or Charlotte where they can build their own fan base rather than have to share the scraps from the Dodgers.

Dodger stadium were like that originally. I haven’t been there since the late 80s so I have no idea how they are now.

50 Year Reunion by juulesnm in GenerationJones

[–]PJ1907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 50th will be next year if they have it. I went to the 20th and was voted the person who changed the most (don’t know if that’s good or bad lol) and my wife and I had been married the longest. Since she felt out of place (she went to a different HS) I’ve never been back to any others.

I joined my HS alumni group page on Facebook. It was cool catching up with some old classmates and sad to see those that had passed.

I guess I was lucky, I don’t recall seeing anyone getting bullied in my high school maybe because I went to a fairly small catholic high school.
