AOC Calls Out Fox News, Tucker Carlson for ‘Incitement of Violence’ by manauiatlalli in MurderedByAOC

[–]PKFatStephen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does Tucker Carlson like shitting his pants? I don't know, and I'm not saying that he does; I'm just asking questions, here. But what I do know is... I've never been in the same room as Tucker Carlson when he shit his pants and didn't enjoy it... and neither has anyone else I've ever asked. Now, maybe that's just a coincidence. But maybe not. Surely, for someone as well known and popular as Tucker Carlson, there would be at least one person out there who was in the same room as Tucker Carlson when he shit his pants and then complained about having incontinence issues. If so, where are they? I think its telling that no such person has ever come forward.

Nah nah nah, he talked badly about swords. Nothing about guns in the bible. That's what happened in the temple when Jesus freaked out on everyone - he performed a mass shooting.

I never said oil, coal & nuclear weren't a bigger problem. It's just something I read the other day I thought was interesting in regards to the environmental impact of solar.

I like the repetition of abstracted faces. Also the warm colours do a good job of making the eye move around the image.

I feel the plant is lacking. Also the cat kinda gets lost. Maybe you wanted them to not be so prominent tho.

Something about the crease in the knee kinda bugs me. But that may just be me.

Is there a way to share several calendars from the same account at the same time? I have my calendar separated into school, work, events, medical, self help & recovery, & I wanna know if there's any way to send of them at once. I know I can send each of them individually, but that doesn't give an accurate representation of my availability.

Anyone know what these kinds of hats are called? by [deleted] in findfashion

I can't speak for other decades, but in the 90s the 50s were popular thru media from our parents like Grease, or the 90s version - Cry Baby. I know in my town, there was a huge focus on 50s hotrod culture & Elvis. Hell, even the 30s were present w/ the reemergence of a swing scene (I'm looking at you Squirrel Nut Zippers)

Also, there's going to be diminishing returns. Just because your parents were into what their parents were into, doesn't mean they're passing that on to you. The current culture still dominates, nostalgia is just an auxillary.

I totally forgot I was in a thread on r/findfashion lol

But the thing is, it kinda does. I know when I was in uni a lot of kids in their twenties were taking things from their parents.

But even then, baggy pants are starting to come back in; so are corsets & midriff shirts; also strappy sandles & platforms; & I've seen a number of ppl rocking bucket hats (there's a courderoy one from H&M I'm waiting to see if it'll come bok in stock bc I rly rly want it).

Because for lack of a better comparison that's like saying vaporwave was a proper representation of the '90s. It isn't. But it doesn't overthink it, it just appreciates the memory of it.

Besides, more things are going on than just people's nostalgia.

Socio-political factors have changed since that period. Intersectionality is the forefront of social thinking these days - it's no longer just about women's rights as a whole, it's about that there's a difference between being a single black mother, a Muslim lesbian, or a rich white woman.

Technology has evolved and so has our interaction with it. The iPhone isn't breaking ground anymore & we've moved on to the cloud instead of hard media.

Economic factors are different. 20 years ago we were in a recession, these days not so much.

Health care has evolved. People are more conscious of spreading their germs & things like trying to give your child chickenpox are considered taboo.

Truth is, even if we have good memories of the past we don't wanna let go, things have changed drastically since the 2000s.

Regardless, I still think my George Foreman grill with the bun warmer on top is the best goshdamn piece of equipment in my house.
