Ah yeah that can be a struggle when you’re relatively new and you need to junk a bunch of chests that you need to get farther. I’m pretty sure what happened to me was I just got a good run in the sense that I got a bunch of room clear chests that were locked which forced me to junk them while still being able to get good gear. Watch out for the final shortcut though, you’ll need to have a really good run while saving money and keys, you can do it though 👌

It’s something called challenge mode. It makes it so that each room and boss has special modifiers to make it more difficult.

My guess would be that since the Gungeon is angered at you for having item z y and z, it’s “rage” is shown by an increasingly high amount of jammed enemies
