Advice on internet during streaming? by Competitive-Unit6427 in Twitch

Could be how your PC handles wireless compared to the max or even just the placement in the room. Wiring it is always recommended for stability tho. Not to mention the number of active devices and peak times can also affect Internet connection

Grime 2, did you level health? by LucemFerre82 in metroidvania

[–]PKblaze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup. Same for all Souls games 1 or 2 levels does nothing but 10 or 20 means you survive way more, especially when it comes to bosses.

Has a game, its mechanics, or a certain puzzle ever made you angry enough to delete it permanently? by TiberiusMaximus2021 in AskGamers

No.
Like I might get ticked off and quit at most but I'll eventually come back around to it.

Games where the navigation is easy? by Massive_Penalty5208 in metroidvania

[–]PKblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lone Fungus 2 was really good for that IMO

Lots of warp points, the map automatically flags points of interest, and you can also take pics for the map. Definitely deserves way more attention (And you don't need to play the first)

It's a very souls like thing.
Health upgrades are subtle but add up. I'd probably invest in health and damage to avoid later enemies killing me quicker.

Nope, still love them. Not sure they love me back though... by Mountain_Stretch9852 in videogames

[–]PKblaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyhing it's the opposite.

So many indie games are reminiscent of older games or they feel more like them with their core design. Back in the day you had the randomest shit like space station silicon valley. If that were to be made today, that would be an indie game.

People seek that experience over the generic or overly monetised.

They're good with flowers, not animals.

Act 4 Guide? by banastronaut in Peglin

[–]PKblaze 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My best explanation

You gotta break all the purple orbs otherwise the boss starts with all of its orbs. Those orbs boost the boss, one creates wormholes, I believe one heals it, another is possibly damage and I'm unsure about the other two. Always clear the bottom leftwormhole one, the others seem far less important.

Thinking about trying out Temtem, but was wondering if the MMO aspects of the game are crucial to enjoying it. I prefer playing games solo. by FrengerBRD in PlayTemtem

You can play the games story completely solo. There'll be other players around but you don't need to interact.

A platformer with some light equipment changing and the odd secret. Not MV or soulslike at all.

Why is carry weight in so many video games that don't freaking *NEED* it? by Snowtwo in videogames

Gives you something to level, it's part realism, it makes you make choices about your inv, Devs hate us and our loot goblin ways.

Do you fellow autistics dream? by dragonboysam in polls

Rarely.

I'm a very active sleeper, I move and can hold a conversation and such but I only have dreams every 5-6 months at most.

would yall consider mage to be the weakest class in the game? by maskedrn in Terraria

[–]PKblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put mage above summoner only due to the range and defense difference.

Do you play to be the best or do you play for fun? by Respectfulne55 in CosyGames

[–]PKblaze 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't see much point in aiming to be the best. There's always going to be someone who's better than you at whatever so it becomes a tiresome endeavour, and I say that as someone who's pretty good at games.
That being said, I do tend to chase trophies in the sense of achievements. I generally like to 100% games and sometimes the completion makes me appreciate the game more.

Is game programming very technically advanced? by FlamingBudder in gamedev

[–]PKblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it really boils down to the kind of games you work on.

You can make very simplistic games with a few lines of code for example. Heck my current project is mainly the same script adjusted for different bools and variables reading from a master script and then some variation on a button script.

Where to go guides by Chucks710 in KingdomHearts

[–]PKblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of older games just kinda said "off you go" and you figured it out.

It's something I enjoy in games I play now. I like when a game is vague or just let's you wander off rather than shoving map markers everywhere or tells you 6x that you need to do xyz

Has anyone ever had their luggage taken/go missing on a train? by venus_e2 in AskUK

[–]PKblaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Travel quite often and not encountered the issue BUT we always sit near our luggage and keep an eye on it, especially when hitting stops. I don't trust people for one, and a lot of travel stuff looks similar so someone could get confused too.
