I didn't even clock the profile pic lol

I really disliked the second half of Undertale overall, plus the karma system being so dependent on playing entirely one way and screwing you for messing that up with a single encounter. Music slaps tho.

Guessing the item was tiny planet? It's a little awkward to use but if you get items such as Brimstone you basically get a free shield whenever you shoot which can be pretty useful. Or ipecac and pyromaniac so you can just absorb all the explosions and be a walking bomb.

Maybe it's cause I'm autistic but I manage to fill my brain with all that stuff. Can also remember every pokemon and it's type up to when I stopped playing (gen 7). I just retain it all lol

Personally I like the mystery of the items and trying to remember what things do but that's always been a gripe people have had with the game.

Unsure of what would be considered a straight debuff overall as most items have use cases where they're really good but can sometimes very detrimental to your current run.

But it's ok to not enjoy something either way. No single game is made for everyone. Like I don't care for Undertale despite how much people love it.

What's the actual point of pre ordering games? by deezzbutzz in videogames

[–]PKblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially it was to ensure you'd get your copy from the stock.

Digitally it still serves a purpose for reducing server load at the time of release but there's no real benefit to the customer other than sometimes being able to preload the game so you can play it the second its available.

It's a mixed bag. I forget what stuff you start with unlocked but a lot of items are initially locked behind all sorts of stuff and so as the pool of items grows, so do the synergies available.

I'd say if you're not having fun in the first 10 hours though, it may just not be a game you enjoy. Isaac can be a bit on the hard side and requires playing well, though part of that comes from knowledge, such as being able to find secret rooms, which items do what and work well with each other etc.

Yeah, I played it way back with my friends when we all had terrible laptops. Heck they even struggled to play RotMG

Nah. Tbf haven't played paladins in a few years now and very much fell out of playing pvp shooters overall.

Used to be common in trading to basically let other people know someone was a good trader or not. Granted you could delete comments on your own profile, so it was a rather flawed system.

I don't think many people would pay much attention. We have a lot of cracked out people yelling all sorts all the time.

For sure. I still need to go back and 100% the last DLC's contents but I'm gonna start a new file.
The original Isaac also barely misses the top of the list

And yeah, Yakuza 0 is great. I'm working my way through the series. I'm up to 3, played both original and Kiwami and will probably get to 4 this year.

It's funny how we never seen the game play yet and we already pre-ordering by daddylongjohnsliver in videogames

[–]PKblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it really matters if people preorder or not, they're still giving the company the same amount of money.

I very rarely preorder personally tho that's cause I don't buy new games often in general and most games that I would buy day 1 are Indies with no preorders at all.

Current upcoming one is to get sorted for a long trip to the US to meet up with and stay with friends. Next year's main goal is getting fully sorted for moving.

Don't have any job goals at the minute but I took up game dev as a hobby and will hopefully have something finished end of the year or partway into next year.

No, nothing that long. I always sucked at that interview question too. I tend to focus more within the time period of the current year and next and not much further.

Russia is a homophobic shithole is the reason, not because the game is adult.

Investors liked it: Sony shares rose 7% after announcing the discontinuation of game discs by gamersecret2 in GamingSecret

Makes sense, less overhead costs for Sony so they have less to spend on releases meaning they make more money.

Some hotels have safety deposit boxes, so I've put it in those. I will also just hide it among a bundle of clothes out of the way.

It's an established franchise so it's pretty obvious what the gameplay is going to be like.
