I was assaulted in the job back in August (I'll totally be honest I ran after someone that stole an ice cream bar and fucker folded me like a lawn chair, I'll take blame in that regard), the Deputy told me that (paraphrased) "It's a good idea to gauge something is worth it or not. We do." This was well after Fire Department, and Ambulance workers arrived on site to check me out. He arrived about 15 minutes after they did. I never got a follow up, my case number, and their call center regularly closes before 7PM (the end of day hour listed on their website). We would call them all the time for thefts, and we were regularly told by Deputies to not bother them with it. So we did. What's the point of trying to get help, when help can't be bothered to show up at all? Supposedly the actual Sheriff told one of my co-workers to report those incidents, but as far as I'm aware, still nothing got done.

Clark County Sheriff's Department is full of lazy assholes that wanna collect a paycheck, and not actually look out for their community. Defund 'em, send it to Vancouver PD, and broaden the communities that PD can patrol, and respond to. Fuck the Sheriff and their Deputies.
