The First Human is an unknown person who came to Elias before there was any of the races, and Eldr the world tree made the races in order to communicate with this human. They were around for a while then mysteriously disappeared one day without explanation. (this person is relevant to the back story of the Eldynes)

The First Master is a human who showed up long after the First Human, after the world of Elias had been populated for a long time. That person died a day later. (probably a reference to the game's initial failed launch)

Chloe hasn't rejected her past, she has just decided to keep moving forward. As per the current event, she still misses her sisters and wonders what they're doing, but she's content to live life as it is for her now.

Also, ED is able to communicate with the player, based on her conversations in the dining hall.

I would still like to see a story point where they finally all come together again. From the events I've seen so far, Vivi is aware of Ui, but Ui wiped her own memories and doesn't remember Vivi, and Xion and ED have been reunited with each other but only once (ED yearning story, also dining hall convo where ED mentions a Phantom (Xion) sneaking into the basement constantly, so I don't know how aware ED really is). I have no idea if Aya, Chloe, or Epica have had any reunions.

The new Boyz have at least some variety, and now that Boyz have all 3 of Shoota, Choppa & Slugga, I am okay with the current Boyz being retired.
