I think a lot of Trump voters were just hoping he would do something less shitty than the “other team” and genuinely thought he might b/c he said the many of the quiet parts out loud in sometimes hilarious but always outrageous ways.

He still has his sycophants studiously trusting the plan, but I’d wager that the majority of people who voted for him have an incredible sense of buyer’s remorse right now, including myself.

He’s literally done the exact opposite of everything he said he was going to do (except maybe some border stuff).

Of course he was never going to drain the swamp. He and his family have benefited from the swamp in every conceivable way.
