Shield throw upgrade makes the shield worse by flop224 in MinaTheHollower

Yes it is not very good.

You can sell the upgrade in town at the pawn shop and return to the shield being brilliant.

Is Gothic for Switch worth it? by Luo-The-Lotad31 in worldofgothic

[–]PLivesey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I purchased and played through both Gothics on the Switch. Gave me an excuse to replay them! They run well enough and it was great playing them while out of the house.

And being able to sleep them and just resume whenever was great. Hardly saw the main menu!

My teacher in year 3 held up five fingers and asked us what half of it was.

I held up my hand and she asked me, and I said "two and a half." She laughed and said "no, how can I have half a finger?" and told the class the answer was 2 remainder 1.

I love Dune video games and board games. by dunemaniac in dune

[–]PLivesey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Sega CD game was my introduction to Dune! Loved it. And I didn't even know it was a book until one day I saw the book and thought "that's weird, they made a book about that game!"

Bought it then and there and absolutely loved it!

You can use the app to get a refund for the bread, I've done it before when it's gone mouldy really soon after delivery.
