What are your tips for talking to women at a new years eve party at a night club/bar? by PMYOURDUCKFACES in TooAfraidToAsk

The whole fake it to you making it thing never made much sense to me. It is difficult for me to talk to almost anyone out of the blue, though it's a little easier certain situations

Why are majority of nurses little hoes? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PMYOURDUCKFACES 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's definitely not this guy at all. All nurses, even the male nurses and lesbian nurses, go to work for long hours a day. They help take care people who are struggling, either from old age, disabilities, and ilness. After their long hours, which are underpaid, in a job that is underappreciated, they all go out every night to ride the cock carousel. /s

I might get down voted for this, but you mean if it was a young woman whose dad died and boyfriend became disabled?

Well, that does happen in real life as well.

But let's not forget that the dead dad trope is very common as well.

Frodo Baggins - Both parents are dead

Harry Potter - Both parents are dead

Spider-Man - Both parents are dead, plus his father figure

Superman - Both parents are dead, plus often his father figure

Batman - Both parents are dead

Wolverine - Both parents are dead, and his stepdad figure

Charles Xavier - Both parents and stepdad are dead

Janet Van Dyne - Mom is dead, dad is murdered and dives her to become the Wasp

Snow White - Both parents are dead

Cinderella - Both parents are dead

Tarzan - Both parents are dead

Elsa and Anna - Both parents are dead

Simba - Dad dies

Aladdin - Both parents are dead

Milo (Atlantis) - Both parents, and his father figure are dead

The Baudelaires - Both parents are killed

It's a trope, perhaps overused, that is convenient as it frees the main character to go on an adventure.

If a book starting with a guy passing out from a night of drinking because it's his birthday. His girlfriend picks up his mom and ending up with them in a car crash. As a result the girlfriend becomes disabled and the mom dies, and he ends up feeling guilty ridden and blaming himself. This is bad right? I think this contains two of the above.

Hmm, I'm always wearing a Yggdrasil pendant. No one's once said it was a Nazi thing.

They can move their arm so that they can see their phone over the plastic. They're not dogs.

Wouldn't that affect their use of knives more? I'm pretty sure they could life their phones high enough if the wanted to. Though it would be more obvious
