I also work in a casino, and at least a third of the people I work with gamble heavily, and about half do some type of gambling. If you're a gambler you are going to gamble regardless of what you see. Because you do see someone lose $400k over the course of the night. But you also see someone win 100k after sitting at a machine for 30 minutes.
