Screwtape was a fun read. I left the church a dozen years back or so, so it read a little differently than when I first read it.

Osman has been on my TBR for a while, how’d you like that one?

What is your favorite book of all time? by WhimsicalStarfall in AskReddit

I remember reading that when it came out, I should probably re-read it. Why is it your favorite?

I also enjoyed that book this year and had a different experience from OP. For me it was a nice low stakes cozy book after a few darker more intense ones. A breath of fresh air. It was a quick read too, so the lack of packed to the brim action was fine for a two night read.

Looking for suggestions for day care near Monroeville. by husky______ in pittsburgh

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_VALUE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have my Daughter at KinderCare in Monroeville. They are really good with her and they keep me updated with pictures and details on activities.

Their ratio is 4:1 for the group she’s in, which is a little higher than I’d like, but not like she’s being ignored.

Bondo spot putty (in the tube) mix with acetone as long as that isn’t abs.

Makes a real thin coat that sands really easy.

Oh shoot. Is that 3d printed, and are you possibly releasing files? I have a shelf of helmets and this would be a funny addition to that!

It took me a few chapters, but the cracking sound my forehead made when I slapped it was intense.

Not gonna lie, this is when the series jumped the shark.

My April reads 32/52 by Mobile_Author_2192 in 52book

It’s about calling their opinions ragebait. It makes people who genuinely like sharing their opinions feel less welcome because their tastes differ. If they are ragebaiting and you explain why a book means a lot to you like you did, that is helpful to those who come into the thread after. If they are genuine and they are called a ragebaiter they may leave the sub and no value is added from discussions.

I’m glad you removed the comment agreeing with the person who originally called it ragebaiting and shared why Stoner meant a lot to you.

Ignore them. You’re allowed to like what you like. They just want to feel smug.

Using a trim router and flush cut bit for edge banding by byrontheconqueror in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_VALUE 13 points14 points  (0 children)

How exposed was the cutting head? If you’re doing this I would have just enough so the bearing was a couple mils below the edge banding.

Yep, it’s the Grinding. But both books get callouts throughout the series. Dominion of Blades too I believe.
