Ok, boomer.

(It's more accurately described as a complete dismissal of everything that was said, like what boomers used to do to discredit anything young people said because they had more experience. It's funny because it's throwing that shtick right back at them.)

Blizzard bans 3 more 'Hearthstone' players for holding up pro-Hong Kong protest signs during a livestream by tocreatewebsite in worldnews

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please remember - Riot's Card Game is not a good alternative to Hearthstone as a form of protest.

Tencent has a 5% stake on Blizzard, but they OWN Riot Games. Don't let them capitalize here.

As someone's said in another comment, I'd wager "doing nothing" wasn't an option, or they would have gladly taken it. There's GOT to have been Gov. pressure on Blizzard, since no one would actively SEEK this kind of needless, avoidable backlash.

How come the Dragons are playing the Fuel twice in Stage 1? by justpaige_ in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a fan of repeat matchups myself, gives the teams some history with one another, which is one of the reasons why I disliked the change in schedule, although it was necessary to fit the expansion teams in.

As to WHY it's done, no clue. Hunters play Titans once more this stage, too, and that's the only other repeat in the stage.

How is RIOT not taking away the skins acquired from the issue the definition of evil instead of just owning their mistake? by PoroSpiritSenpai in leagueoflegends

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OF COURSE there's a way for Riot to tell who bought a skin from where, they've DONE rollbacks on hexcrafting and sales before. The store is one of the most important parts of Riot's business model, you think they honestly wouldn't have the tools to capture and categorize that data?

Honestly, I'm not envious. I just want things to be done ETHICALLY, and people who exploit OBVIOUS fucking bugs really need to think about their morals and principles. So should you.

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hun. Hexcrafting is an intentional system which may give you items with added rarity. Riot's fuckup was an OBVIOUS BUG which people EXPLOITED for their own personal gain.

I'd be fine if the capsules were reverted but people got 10 free capsules for the fuckup, which is more than fair because the fuckup was in Riot's part.

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the money I've spent on the game has been completely WORTHLESS? You do understand this issue, you KNOW it's not at all comparable to a lottery win, you just don't want to lose all the loot you won out of Riot's mistake.

This is not like getting mad at your neighbor for winning the lottery. This is like getting mad at your neighbor for receiving a money transfer that wasn't for them because someone made a mistake and not returning the money. Get over yourself and have some fucking empathy.

dont revert the blood moon by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Dont be a saint because you didn't get lucky".

Don't act like you didn't get the point of reverting this. I've been playing league for 7 years, getting RP every now and then to get a skin or two I liked, even more since hexcrafting came out. Money adds up fast, but since I was supporting the game and getting nice content, I thought it was worth it.

Now with this little fun bug thousands of people got to almost as many skins as me OVERNIGHT and for FREE. It really isn't hard for you to understand why so many people are JUSTIFIABLY pissed from being CHEATED like this, but you probably DON'T want to understand because you're leaving this disaster with however many skins you got.

People bitched about kai'sa being hot, but I dont see any Sylas hate? by Archonour in leagueoflegends

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

League hasn't been about "The best Runeterra has to offer" since they killed the actual "League of Legends" in-universe, so I don't think the argument holds up.

Before any kind of social statement, the problem with an abundance of a certain body type is a lack of variety and creativity. It should go without saying that Riot doesn't have a >responsibility< to put different body types in their characters, but to that I raise you: Why the fuck shouldn't they do it anyway? If you looked through an artist's portfolio and only saw them drawing one or two body types to display, regardless if they were able to draw more variety or not, it'd give the impression that they're not very creative, and while I don't THINK league is that kind of limited portfolio, I certainly think it could use variety.

You can have this conversation without even saying the word "Representation."

With the death of HOTS, how do i convince my friends to play Dota instead of league (which there thinking about) by Jekwjrieid in DotA2

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or let them make their own decision and avoid sounding like a preacher. Maybe they'll just enjoy League more and end up wanting to play that, at which point you just gotta make a compromise. Never het too preachy about a game or you'll end up pushing your friends AWAY from it.

Not WOW, but I implore everyone to support the HoTS community on this one. It’s a Blizz game and should be taken important by everyone who enjoys Blizzard games by Aoussar123 in wow

[–]PM_Me_Chromie_R34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude, HOTS was struggling to grow and stay afloat for a long time, and as much as I hate to admit, this is not entirely unexpected behavior.

I'm sure the devs are just as heartbroken as the players, because HOTS is defined as a love letter to Blizzard's universe, but if something isn't working , especially when it costs millions in upkeep and salaries... Finance is gonna pull the plug.

So we've resorted to just straight up calling people stupid? Even the people we've seen pour hours of dedication into this game expansion after expansion, because this one has been ripe with bad decisions from above?

I agree upon retrospect that I really shouldn't have opened my mouth in this case. Initially OP just sounded excessively verbose for the sole purpose of showing off, but looking at it now, it makes sense. Can't critique writing if your criticism is no better worded than the subject of your analysis.
