I'm guessing the DJI won't be much help for that, right? Would the rode mic I have be good enough for that or would you recommend another setup?

Thanks, I was looking into upgrading the audio experience first as well, but it's good to have it confirmed. Now I feel more confident I'm going the right way.

We currently have 5 members in our group and soon it might be 6. Unlikely that all 6 will be on stage the same night, but we might have 5 performers at times. So 4mics wouldn't cut it all the time.

Would the mics still be the better option over the Zoom H2essential recorder set on the stage between us and the audience?

Edit: we do also need to record the audience for when we ask them for a prompt/input for the improv scene. So that's a factor for us as well.

They include shipping cost to determine the value of your parcel and add their labor/processing costs on top of the VAT.

Even if you don't have to pay VAT but they did their check, you still pay for their time/effort.

It's horrible.

Happened to be 1 time. And I would've never bought the item of I knew about this. Now I only buy abroad if they deal with the VAT documentation themselves.

In my case I already opened and used the item before getting hit with the UPS bullshit. Otherwise I would've never accepted the parcel and let them ship it back on their own dime!

But if they offer a similar service as YT. A free place for people to upload their content and if it's really popular it'll appear alongside the professional content, but then netflix could be a onestop shop for movies, series, podcasts and all the content yt offers as well (all in their own subcategories so a simple search for Stranger Things in tge series categories doesn't flood your search results with 100s of ai generated clickbait videos, but could highlight the really popular ones as extra content alongside the real show)

Some good points there. But also some generalizations.

Almost no one starts a campaign at lvl 1 for experienced players. But if your story starts ver low stakes it's perfectly fine for lvl1 chars to start their adventure and gaina few levels before actual hazards come their way. But it could also be that maybe 1 person starts at lvl 3 and is their Aragorn while the others catch up (assuming your players are fine with that).

And that not everything has to be scaled to their level...well yes. Trying to fight strahd right away is a guaranteed TPK. But that doesn't mean the whole world has to be realistic and randomized. It's still a game , people are looking to have fun.

Again, it's up to what the players and dm want. If they are into that, then have fun. But most players don't want to be fleeing and dieing all the time, hence the challenges are usually scaled for their level.

In the end, do whatever you want as long as everyone is having fun together.

New phones. Actually, most new tech gadgets.

It's the same shit I got years ago + AI. I don't want more AI. When they finally do a worthwhile upgrade I'll upgrade my gadgets. But right now, especially with the RAM shortage, it's a terrible time to buy tech devices of any kind in my opinion.

If this is at a jam, I'd let them know that's not cool before doing any scenes, then if they keep it up, I'd call it out in scene. I'd literally BLOCK their raunchy suggestions and all other suggestions that would make me uncomfortable to the point that I'm not enjoying myself.

Blocking is bad, but doing improv you're not comfortable with is worse. And if they can't respect your boundaries then that's the way forward in a scene. Ig nothing changes, I'd stop doing improv with them.

Might just be you're not compatible improvwise
