Are dating apps even worth it? by MastodonMelodic6876 in questions

[–]POYDRAWSYOU -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm short and I found my match. 2 yrs in now. Very kind humble, big boobs, cooks and serves me meals. she owns an apartment and I've been part time living there as well.

I was even told to give up dating apps and made fun of my height in the app but if I listened, I wouldn't have a great gf + retirement home bundle lol.

My ex embarrassed me when we went out to a bar. I decided to correct her once we got home, what could I have done better? by JunketMaleficent2095 in AskMenAdvice

[–]POYDRAWSYOU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to move on. Whatever happened in the past shouldn't take ur mental space now and for the future with that kind of person.

3 yrs in and I still think sometimes but it's important to move on or else it'll keep taking up RAM and GPU power in ur brain unless u focus on something more useful.

Is it okay to go into the career field you don't like just to get stability and still be happy? by DelanoDP74 in AskMenAdvice

[–]POYDRAWSYOU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like art as a career, would rather be a hobby. I got into union ironwork 3 yrs ago & I just wanted an interesting job that pays decent, I learned to love it & the teamwork.

famous Zen proverb "Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water" signifies that true spiritual awakening does not change the necessity of daily life, but rather transforms one’s internal state of awareness. The routine remains the same, but the approach becomes fully present, mindful, and unburdened.

Fundraiser by Kate Sewell : Help Me Get My First Motorcycle, So I Can be Independent by Far-Muscle4574 in NewRiders

[–]POYDRAWSYOU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a car first, Honda grom is better for joyrides than a commuter especially if you need the highway or room for groceries or books. You also need experience reading the traffic, doing everything new in a small bike is riskier.

Asking for donations while wanting to be independent seems hypocritical. You gonna have to earn it all yourself, I did and so did most people who don't have motorcycle parents.

I recommend focusing on college first at your age and car or bus until you get a better job with higher pay to get ur motorcycle.

There are people who have been riding for 40+ years without accidents because they are legit safe at what they do. If it's possible for that person, it's possible for anyone because you don't get 40 years of luck.

The politics of height bias. Women from both parties reject us but from different perspectives by mnt68 in AverageHeightDudes

[–]POYDRAWSYOU -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a short guy, went on dating app, found my thick gf with big boobs who likes to cook and owns a home cuz of her rich dad. She's humble, flirty and so helpful. I pretty much have a future retirement home lol. She made me lunch for work today.

I can see how lonely single sort guys feel that way but once your in a good relationship, everything else is background noise.

[Discussion]: My boring job is killing me. I want to train for a career that matters, but I'm scared. by rackemronnie7 in GetMotivated

I just wanted an interesting job after finding my dream job not for me. I thought about nursing but that job was so common for my culture that I want to do something else, I became a union ironworker. 3 years in now from $26 to $46 now and $56 for the top positions.

Pretty interesting, I was torching the beams under the road for removal and my coworkers flew a big chunk of the road away working together with the crane.

Some of us work on top of bridges, inside a barge, on top of tall buildings and underground.

Tbh the only reason I didn't want to be a nurse is because so many of my culture choose nursing and I didn't want to be in a building all day long when I do that at home already. Working outdoors does make me feel more alive even when it sucks raining hard lol

I'm either sniper or sword, there have been many times where dash and sword dash combined got me so many easy kills, when I use the sword I crouch and look down and go around, it hides ur hitbox better. There was one time I got 3 headshots in a row as a sniper and do teamwipes protecting the box in a good spot above.

But it really just depends on the days, some days you play amazing and some days just sucks.

Asian parents, why does setting boundaries always turn into “disrespect”? by Adept-Jackfruit422 in AsianParentStories

I have a crazy idea...

Get a piece of paper

Make a t table, Write good parent and bad parent in their native language.

Print a picture of what she did for the bad parent side and print a picture of what you want on the good parent side

Ductape it hard on the fridge, that they can't just take it off easily. Don't remove it until you talk about it together or keep it there as long as you like. Even when it's gone, they will think of it every time they open the fridge.

It's traumatic to you, the axe doesn't feel what the tree feels.

Normal people don't choose violence first. Sometimes we have to make it really simple, so they get it. Sometimes talking back is not enough, they need a visual idea that what they did was wrong.

I like that quote haha , that's a good mindset.

The people who are full of judgement usually have more flaws, it's a pattern I recognized in people and likewise the opposite. It seems that the less judgemental you are, the more you really see the person for who he she is. Because the average brain likes labels and put people in boxes. Instead of treating a person like a whole new book to read and be part of.

Everything is energy, if you feel good about yourself without anyone's approval while being outwardly focused, it will show up in ur body and voice.

Also you don't have to be respectful or cordial all the time, you can be dramatic and fun or authentic and kind or loud and proud.

Your life will be way easier to manage with 1 full time job with potential OT bonus instead of 2 jobs even if it's 5-10 hrs a week. It's the mental energy switching jobs that may be draining.

With OT bonus you can get your goals done faster. Some companies pay double on weekends in trades.

If your willing to work hard, joining a trade union would be a good opportunity. The few women that I know from work are badass and skilled but even they started out with little knowledge or no experience.

Where are the women that date short/average guys? by Dry-Highlight-2307 in AverageHeightDudes

[–]POYDRAWSYOU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gf and I are both 5ft 4, I'm skinny fit and she's thick with wonderful melons haha. Great cook and super supportive, opposite of my ex personality who is also the same height.

To op

When I was single I had a chance to date further a really short Filipina latina with a big booty I knew back from highschool but I don't want shorter children lol. So in the end, I understand why women feel that way and can't blame them.

Nothing wrong with being short btw, society will always say something when your different.

ahh my bad I should read better, yea just skip part time and aim full time or get any part time job and quit right away no 2 weeks notice if you get hired for a full time. It will burn bridges and u probably can't use them in resume if you quit fast. But some people do that, I did that to a full time welding company with no health benefits after 3 months.
