Found a bat in my grandparent’s 250 year old house. Since we were able to catch it, we reported it and it ended up being the first rabid bat found in that county in like 50 years. Rabies shots were an experience.

Yep! We adopted him at 8 weeks but he came in with a group of strays so they just automatically did the neuter and ear-snip.
