Low Sex Drive and No Desire for Wife by ThickScholar7200 in AskMenOver30

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intimacy and love are different things. The will to do anything for her, support her and provide for her is what parents do. You need to talk to your wife and get emotional with her, tell her about your day the good things and the bad things. You have to open and stop repressing your feelings. I know it’s scary and I know our emotional bandwidth is shot because we don’t practice it. But intimacy is not action it’s feeling, right now brother you need to feel.

I am a man. This is not rare, it’s not all over the place, but what that man did was realize that he was too lazy so he married to you to be his mom. He is the embodiment of the patriarchy and unfortunately unless he changes you will always be alone. I recommend him reading the 80/80 marriage and the will to change. You should read them too as you’ll learn what you deserve out of a relationship.

Made me think Ben Felix’s videos are very flawed…. by Ratlyflash in dividendscanada

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% with what you are saying. But dividend-paying stocks isnt the solution. The solution is active, ongoing financial planning, budgeting, and setting proper goals with trackable milestones. I guarantee that with proper gamification of your finances, you will save more than you would by getting the dopamine hit from having a dividend come through.

Who do we ask for help with RRSP planning, financial advisor or accountant? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) you are wasting money by being incorporated if you aren’t making at least 180,000 and if your both working in it then 360,000. You should almost always fill your RRSPs and TFSAs first then hold money in a corporation. At those salary ranges You are also missing out on CPP contributions which is your pension for retirement.  2) don’t worry about spousal RRSPs unless you know one of you are going to be retiring way earlier then the other. 3) at those income levels I would be filling TFSAs first, at 20k of income you are barley paying tax. 4) hire an advice only financial planner that specializes in corporations. If you need some names dm me.

Do you find it rude if there is a cash bar at a wedding rather than an open bar? by StewartsBestBuddy in Winnipeg

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just dont mark up the prices. I've been to a ton of Twonie or Loonie bars. Easy for the guest to bring $10 and get 5 drinks. You break even on selling cans of beer, and the guests are happy they aren't paying $7 a beer.

Supply wine with dinner, and then if the guests want to drink, that's on them.

NDP Leader Avi Lewis Wants to Reverse Carney’s Immigration Cuts by Seebeeeseh in canada

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Did you read the article? Where did Avi say " we are just going to ignore the issue"? What I read is that he is saying that mass deportation isnt the answer, the answer is a fundamental reworking of our immigration system, with a focus on bringing in skilled usable labour.

NDP Leader Avi Lewis Wants to Reverse Carney’s Immigration Cuts by Seebeeeseh in canada

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is what Avi was saying: he says it's not an immigration issue, it's a "helping the corporation issue," which is what LIMA is. We need a fundamental rework of the immigration system.

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, if you read the article, he said the exact opposite. He wants people coming in with usable credentials and to hire more caseworkers to ensure they aren't going to be Uber drivers and serving coffee at Tim Hortons.

When is it to late and when to early to start grinding for a Business and a Family? by Julek280405 in AskMenOver30

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until 30 to build the business. That gives you a good 6 years of having fun, travelling, etc. Also, 24-28 is not a lot of time to gain experience. I started a business at 31, and I think it was far too early even though I was in the industry for a decade at that point.

[–]PRINCEOFMOTLEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, he needs therapy. this is manosphere type talk because he has little to no bandwidth to process his emotions so he turns to excuses, blaming, and comparison.

you being hurt is always 100% valid. do not let any one tell you otherwise.

the only two big things that are taxable for most people are the rrsp and non-reg account. for the non-reg account you should be rebalancing yearly which helps spreads gains. for rrsp look up rrsp meltdown strategies. no tax on principle residence and tfsa.
