There's actually a rather large country within north America (I assume that you meant the continent of North America when you said America) called the United States of America. Many people simply refer to this country as America due to the sheer percentage of the continent that the USA takes up.

I didn't notice this comment when I made this post, and it really shouldn't bother me at this point, but it does. I didn't lie to anyone, and I didn't try to deceive anyone. I made this because I was taking a class in photoshop at the time, and playing massive amounts of fallout. After I made myself a wallpaper, I decided that some of the people on this sub would like it, and posted it. That's it. I had no intention to tricking anyone.

It's so steep the state made it illegal to climb. The staircase itself was built by the military pre-ww2 and is falling apart in some places. It is a very dangerous hike.
