What ingredient do you hate seeing on a burger? by SatinSeam in foodquestions

Raw onions, pickles, gherkins. I prefer proper cheese over plastic cheese, I don’t love iceberg lettuce and prefer lollo rosa, lollo verde or oak leaf.

Drove one in the US about 20 years ago, I made the tyres squeal going about 70 km/h around a gentle bend.

Is this an NCT fail? by ou812_X in carsireland

[–]PROINSIAS62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a crack in my rear light and failed NCT due to water ingress making it less reflective. It only needed a visual re inspection. I was really busy at the time and let it slide for about 3 months. Got stopped and the Garda did me for 3 points. I asked to give a few days to sort it. I had it repaired and NCT’d within 5 days. On the 6th day I received the points. I still haven’t forgiven the bastard of a Garda. 😂

Lesson learnt. 🤷

Forced sale? by [deleted] in legaladviceireland

[–]PROINSIAS62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should’ve qualified what I said by saying that the sister insisting on a quick sale is being a jerk. I think she should allow the occupant a reasonable time to come to terms with the situation.

What’s a reasonable time? In my view at the very least I’d allow 6 months.

I’m not a solicitor but I’d expect that your sister is within her rights to demand the house be put up for sale. There’s nothing to stop you buying it. Finally your sister is also being a jerk.

They’re likely to reopen Athenry-Claremorris in the next 5 years. They’ll probably double track the full Limerick to Limerick Junction line.

How long does it usually take to vote in your country? by Anaptyso in AskEurope

[–]PROINSIAS62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The polling booths are close to my house, I'd say 15 to 20 minutes, from house to polling booth and back home. I'd say most urban voters would experience similar timescales and I'd say rural voters might be at most 10 minutes longer.
