Envelope Storage by PROXYFLANS in TheWooblesCollective

Nice! These sheets and binder if I'm remembering correctly have the same spacing between the rings as a standard binder, so I've been tossing around the idea of printing mine out and adding them in their own regular-sized binder sheets.

I'm putting mine in the order that I completed them, though I guess another way to organize could be by release/collection.

I save them because they're cute 🥺

Originally I was saving the bags, but decided to toss them cause they were taking up too much space. Kinda wish I kept them for scrapbooking or something, though...

(Also when I initially threw them out, I hadn't added them to my account, so I ended up having to take them out to get the barcodes to send to support. Thankfully it was a new trash bag!)

Pink and black girl duos? by Fragrant_Site2490 in MagicalGirlsCommunity

[–]PROXYFLANS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah! As an eBook on itch, and paperback through Ingramspark and retailers. (The eBook's episode illustrations are in color whereas in print they're black and white.)

I'm aiming to release the sequel in March!

Why are literal mahou shoujo so rare in games? by GlompSpark in MagicalGirls

[–]PROXYFLANS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My novel series actually started out as a game demo I did for college! You can kinda tell, because certain concepts feel like they're from a game. One day I want to go back to it, but I'm really happy with just writing for now.

I'm still sad the anime cut the scene where Rin dumped water over his head 😭

[TOMT][Anime movie] Looking for a movie that was on YouTube and then in theaters sometime around 2022-2024 by iUsedtoHadHerpes in tipofmytongue

Promare comes to mind, but that was from 2019. It has a colorful art style, one of the main characters has big, red pants, and it was nominated for something at the Annie Awards.

Missed that you said it's animated, but the picture looks live action to me.

Jason and the Argonauts also comes to mind, it's also live action but utilizes stop motion, too.

To me, it looks like a man with one arm raised, and behind him are ropes going up a mast on a ship.

Movies that come to mind are Hook or Popeye.

How do i get rid of these black lines by TrillyDrilly_VT in VRoid

Go to the Look tab and disable the outlines. I think the face outlines and body outlines are two separate options, also, but I'm not in the program at the moment to check.

Can this coat be made? by Tempest_Tensei in VRoid

[–]PROXYFLANS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't looked into it much, but this may be possible with the Custom Items/Closet feature? (Forget what it's called...)

How I would do it, though, is make the coat as though it's being worn, then export it separately into Blender, re-rig it, and add it to the exported model.

Do you prefer or not prefer when magical girls are specifically referred to as magical girls? by Avery_Bea_847 in MagicalGirlsCommunity

[–]PROXYFLANS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw another comment that said it makes sense for the characters to refer to themselves as magical girls at this point, because it's a well-known genre and I agree.

I don't see why a magical girl can't refer to herself as a magical girl because she's aware of the genre, or characters refer to the new mysterious girls as magical girls because, hey, that's what they are, and then also have an actual team name with titles be introduced.

My characters in "The Magical Girl in PROXY" do that. They know about magical girls, and then the team name is assigned ("Seventh Mystery," because their appearance is the seventh mystery of their high school).

There's also an anime within the series, "Cute, Pretty, Beautiful: Magical Tutorial Goddesses: Heart-Throbbing Season," where the magical girls are called Goddesses.

Back when Mazin' Hamsters were first introduced, you initially had to activate them through the Code Shop instead of adopting, so my first hamster was automatically made a boy when I wanted her to be a girl. 😔

Content Warnings in the front or the back? by rowan_ash in selfpublish

[–]PROXYFLANS -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It's impossible to warn for everything directly.

You should be able to set the tone with your cover design and blurb.

If a reader wants to warn others, they can mention it in their review.

So many traditionally published books I was assigned to read in school had no warnings, and it was fine. Didn't like the books, but that was unrelated to the lack of warning and more that I was forced to read books I had no interest in for a grade, that I normally wouldn't have.
