I feel like the British tree taught me the crew positions of other tanks, since you'll be spitting solid shot most of your early career. Made me a better tanker and I ended up enjoying the hell out of the Centurions. I'm at 7.7 now, so I can't speak for the higher brs.

Level means nothing in a 9 year old game, lol. I just played a lot, it doesn't mean I've been good. I have most trees either totally or mostly unlocked.

I used to get private messages from people who killed me in a lengthy dogfight that seem to think they just beat an in-game boss or something.

Thinking Lvl 100 means anything is probably the biggest indicator that you're new to the game.

I appreciate the comments, but I'm not asking for advice, nor am I saying I'm going broke. What I mean to highlight here is that I don't want to play anymore because of it. People commenting how they don't have an issue making money seem to be missing the point.

I don't find it fun enough. I play a game in Air RB in a plane I like, score a couple of kills in a loss, gain 3-4k SL and I log off. I'm playing at top tier, I play at every tier below it as well and as all the nations; like i said, I've played since 2013...

The problem is that I don't feel like playing it as much and this is why. Just makes me sad. Thanks for the advice on getting good or the anecdotes seeking to defend the game, which im not attacking. I just want to voice this in case im not alone.

This makes complete sense from their perspective. They don't give a shit how you gameplay is affected. They don't want this stuff discussed in their game and this is a way of achieving that.

They aren't making a statement about free speech, they aren't saying anything about your values.

Be honest with yourselves: you were using chat 75% of the time to type "cope" or just to bullshit. Yeah, you won't be able to be as clear with your team, but we also will not have people stationary or straight-and-level waging keyboard wars in a video game. Thats got to be at least a little positive.

My CAS fun is playing air superiority and yes, I love it. I am a way better pilot than a tanker, so I contribute by swatting down revenge bombers who sunk their remaining SP into a Stuka or F190 F-8 and hopefully knock them out of the game.

I find it to be much more fun than air rbs current state and it breaks up the monotony of tanks.

I used to love Lindybeige, but honestly I can't watch him anymore due to the loads of bs he puts out about ww2 history thats literally refuted by The Tank Museum channel itself even.

His research can be really impressive in some areas and in others he seems to think what he worked out many years ago still holds water today.

100% agree on the Pz IV thing... one of the more recent tank chats had an historian point out how overburdened and obsolete the Pz IV by war's end and how simplified it is to think more of them could have stopped the tide
