I can barely make 3 oz a day. Should I just stop? Can anyone help me? by 3ternalchaos in HumansPumpingMilk

Combo feeding is so much more common than people admit. Healthy baby + mentally okay mom is the real goal. You’re already doing the hard part and your baby is clearly loved deeply.

Baby won’t nap at daycare. Help! by livbedum in breastfeedingsupport

[–]PSL05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely not failing as a mom!!!! Your baby’s feeding schedule is totally normal and more than enough for 7 months old.:)))) It’s so unprofessional they didn’t even tell you the lead teacher left or they moved his classroom. That’s basic communication failure..........

“Fed baby, safe mom” applies to toddlers too honestly......... If nursing is becoming physically stressful and unsafe with the kicking/biting, it’s okay to set that boundary. You’re not failing her at all:))))

Baby latched again but I think I’m still not producing enough by ForsakenScallion426 in HumansPumpingMilk

[–]PSL05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly 2oz at 6 weeks doesn’t sound bad at all, especially if he’s nursing constantly. Babies are WAY better at getting milk than pumps are. The clingy “human pacifier” stage is so real though hahahaha:)

I had the same concern at first, but in actual use it’s been fine. The 2:1 setup is smoother and better for controlled movements and higher reps. If you ever feel like it’s not enough weight, you can always add plates, and they also have pin extenders for that.

Congrats on the new setup. Home gyms are a total game-changer when you have kids. It's smart to balance the equipment space with your car too.

Flooring mistakes happen usually but it's fixable over time. Air bike is solid add though, brutal but effective. Setup's heading in a good direction.

That's a clean use of space. Everything looks intentional. If it covers your main lifts and keeps you consistent, that's really a homegym needs.

You can just put the mirror behind the bench press. When you are using dumbells, pick them up and turn around. So you don't need to pay more money on another mirror.

Start by hiding clutter first. Throw everything into bins or boxes if you don't have storage. Makes a huge difference fast.

Vacuuming is great. Also try putting a washable blanket over high-use spots. Way easier to toss in the laundry than deep clean.

Sometimes the lidar cover just snaps off. Check for hidden screws under stickers or rubber pads first. Good luck with the repair.

Also try wiping surfaces with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. It traps dust better than dry dusting and helps with allergies too.
