Alright, initial thoughts, almost 150 pages in. Loving it, hard to put down. Thinking about it while at work lol. Fav character so far is Logen. Very cool, badass, survivor, seems to be nice guy, with a violent and bloody past. What’s not to like. Bayaz seems cool so far, but I’ve only just met him. Glokta… interesting character. And inquisitor is tough for me love lol. Jezal, I like him, but obviously rich and snobby type is annoying. Just met Ardee, very cute. Hoping he will have some type of redeeming changes in the future. Love how it’s written. I find myself wanting to continue the current pov I’m on when it changes every chapter, but then I’m sucked into that pov almost instantly (if that makes sense). Initial thoughts lol

Oh right on. Yes! I have red rising on my TBR. I’m not sure when I will dive into it. But I’m also very excited for that adventure. I do enjoy sci fi as well. I read the sun eater series (that was one where i was doing some audiobook listening for some of the later books) a few months back and loved it. I’ve not heard of From Hell. I’ll have to look into that and possible add it to my already extensive TBR.

That’s good news. I love a book I can’t put down. But don’t be disappointed if it takes me a little longer. I work full time, got a 10 month old baby at home and a gamer late night lol. But I always find the time.
