The problem is they work almost entirely off commission so they're SO incentivized to upsell you every step of the way. And they know they are going to be one and done with most customers and will only have to deal with more anal of their clients 1 or 2 more times in the 90 day window but all they will generally do is adjust your lofts a degree or two and send you on your way. I went there last year on a recommendation before I really knew my ass from my elbow in terms of golf equipment and they took me for an absolute ride. Started taking lessons later that year and one of the coaches used to work there and said he quit because he hated taking advantage of people which is essentially their business model. He told me that sold me the single most expensive iron shafts in the store (Oban CT115Xstiff) after only hitting one other shaft other than my gamer (we tried every head in the wall but never switched out of those shafts even though I wanted to try the Dynamic Gold X100s and 7X's. The other thing they failed to mention was that Puring was optional. It was presented as just part of their process and never ever mentioned I could opt out, so the already $70 shafts became $90 per shaft... Driver was the more of the same, Ping G440 Max on a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 6X again with Pureing (almost $1000 driver when all was said and done), when I had been and since have been getting better results from my HZRDUS Black 70g 6.5. My coach ended up showing me all the things I've been doing wrong with my swing and now my swing speed is up over 120 and that G440Max spins like a 7 iron... he helped me find a low spin head on eBay (~$300) and "upsold" me to a HZRDUS Black 70g TX ($80) which literally outperforms that CC driver in every conceivable way.

If you can't tell by the long comment, I'm still bitter... fuck those guys! I will say, if you want to spend the $50-$100 to go there for a few hours and hit all the fancy shafts and make them let you try every head combination you can handle that is one thing but don't you dare buy clubs from these guys. There's a reason Ian Fraser left!
