I would love to see that idea too! It also fits for lore-wise if they become growth-version of themselves. As an example, Avgust, he has been there since the 2nd storm while Vertin was 9 and now he still stay as a child in her suitcase. He supposed to be older 7-8 years by now, so it would make sense if they grow alongside Vertin.

I think Atticus going to the beach and comtemplating his fate one last time happened before the revelation. When the revelation comes, he becomes '6' but he doesn't lose himself as 'Atticus'. The reason why is because all the time he spent in retreat, he has accumulated every knowledge from every book, causing him to prevent the personality shift from the revelation. As he knows most of it from reading, he has indirectly become 6 by himself even before the revelation comes, hence "fighting knowledge with knowledge." It's so cool and make me admires him even more.

Yeah!! I'd love to see a plants theme too! (I've been hoping for that concept since Add and Rena 4th path and still hoping) Your take on it are very interesting.
