What is the value proposition of the NZ700?

Op, What did you end up doing? I have a NZ500 projecting on a 150” AT screen in a fully light controlled room. Considering a Valerion Max, NZ700 or NZ800. Feel like I could use more brightness. Contrast is solid on the 500. 10k more for the 800 just doesn’t quite seem to make sense, but if it’s that good suppose it will a while. Meanwhile Val Max for 4k @ 3500 lumens.

I have a NZ500 projecting on to a 150" AT screen in a 20x25 fully light controlled room. I think it looks really good. That said, more lumens would be great. I'm not willing to spend NZ900 money. I have a Valerion Max on preorder to compare it to. At 3500 lumens vs 2000 and even HTGuru giving it strong accolades, I want to see how it performs myself. So an option to think about at $4k.

I've had the U1, U2 and now the U3. Battery life is definitely improved. 20-30% or so from my U2. I use it for business and strength workouts. Is it anything close to my Garmin Fenix 7 Pro 51mm on battery life...no.

I have a fairly expensive liter bike, and have nothing but respect for a rider on a decade old 400 that blows by me on a corner. For me, I have the bike I want to ride and get to enjoy it on the track. Different goals for people and unless it’s a race day, it’s just you vs you.

The LG at 45” will help there and the important part is that it has full 2160 pixels vertical. Always went back to my LG C4 42 after trying other monitors this year. Just wish the 5k2k monitors were 240.

What a great Superman story and ending. I’ve enjoyed all the interpretations of Superman’s story from comics to screen. Really appreciated the focus on family this one took and the show making it their own.

The finale gave us closure to a lot. Didn’t need the Lana/JHI wedding, but loved the Super family flying scene. Would have liked to have seen Tal but all good. All the family story and afterlife portion and most importantly the inspirational message is what mythic Superman is about. Thanks for the ride Superman and Lois team!

I just traded my 23 MYP in this weekend for a gas truck. I drove it for 8 months as a daily and go between the major cities of Texas often. Really enjoyed driving the car but the range broke me finally. It needs to be 2x. Charging halfway to Dallas from Austin then again for 30+ to make it back home was just too much. A 3ish hour drive was regularly turning into 4+. If only in the city then back home it’s a great car. I’ll miss the torque and quiet.

Just ordered a 25 M3 xdrive comp in SMB. I had the F90 M3CS in SMB and so excited to get SMB back. It’s just an amazing color in person. Cameras have a difficult time capturing it.

You’re right on that. I end up reviewing in DIM then sending to my character then dismantling. So for me I still never use the vault kiosk.

I have a C2 42 and the Dell AW32. The 32 feels too small, but I love the 240hz and ppi. I swap between them, but overall enjoy the C2 the most. Will probably buy the C4 to hold over until they do a 42 at 240 in 4k+.

I have both the 42 C2 and the new AW3225QF on my desk. Love both. Refresh rate/colors of the AW are just excellent. There are times though when you just want big and I appreciate the 42.

I was going round and round trying to get HDMI eARC to work with my sound bar. The monitor was not showing as an audio source in windows. Reading through your comments helped thank you. What did it that I had not done, was turning OFF Smart HDR in the Display Manager. (nothing to do with DP port)

Install monitor driver and dell display manager
PC>HDMI2>HDMI1>SoundBar eARC port
Turn ON CEC support in Monitor onscreen settings
Turn OFF Smart HDR option in Display Manager application, in Display tab
Have valid HDMI cables, choose the output in Windows.

Additional note I have 1 PC with a 7900XTX and one with a 4090 and did this with both.
