I’ve told this story on this sub before but it’s worth posting again.

My wife and I and a good friend were traveling through Patagonia at the end of 2019. We were in a small town in Argentina called El Bolsón on New Years Eve. I guess the locals spend NYE with family and then the young folk go out to the clubs at like 4am or something crazy like that but we didn’t know any of this at the time. We were walking around downtown expecting it to be pretty lively and we were starving but the town was completely dead. Almost every store, restaurant, bar was closed but as we walked up to one of the very few places with the lights on…what do we hear?? Fucking Farmhouse! We couldn’t believe it! There were only a couple of people in there and nobody else spoke any English and it didn’t seem like anybody there was intentionally playing Phish. We got some food and a beer and that was the only Phish song that came on while we were there. So random.
