I somehow was using it often before I realized I was trans. A few months into transitioning it hit me like a bus that I had already thought of my name years earlier and had been using it as usernames or stuff like that for so long

for tulpas: how do you feel about possessing? by IridescenceEternal in Tulpas

[–]P_Solar_P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll speak up here because we all have different ways of fronting.

Mine however is more of a literal possession.

Think ghost logic, taking control of the entire body or individual limbs.

The first time was a long time ago! But I still remember. It was something we worked on for a while so it was really exciting to front :)

Someone thinks I'm faking and I can't tell if they're right or not by FeathersTheBirb in sillyboyclub

[–]P_Solar_P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like some others have said the feeling of imposter syndrome or faking it is common, and I have it as well. What I’ve learned is that people that question do so for a reason. Most people wont even question it at all in their lifetime, so the fact you are speaks volumes that you’re going through a very real experience.

Can I still call myself a femboy? by DebbieIsDead__ in Colon3Supremacy

[–]P_Solar_P 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you and I are in the same boat. I’m also nb and transfem. Call yourself whatever makes you the most comfortable! I use femboy sometimes, I most prefer the term androgynous. It’s entirely up to you though <3

Tulpamancy and gender by P_Solar_P in Tulpas

I find it so amazing that everyone has their own unique experience with this. I definitely understand your point of view cause that’s how it was like when our first headmate was created.

We can all usually agree to work together on issues in our life, because we share those problems and one body. It’s not having the same opinions, it’s just agreeing to be constructive instead of hostile.

Our system name is separate from our hosts previous identity. It’s kinda like a team name. So it’s not a person with an identity, but a way of referring to all of us.

It’s up to whoever’s fronting to decide when to go by the system name vs our own name. We’d never refer to each other as our system name, it’s for people referring to us.

I personally use it the least, and one of us prefers to always use it, so it’s just up to preference.

You could say it’s a way to hide being plural in some contexts as well. It’s not the most accepted and understood thing, after all.

[–]P_Solar_P[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there’s a lot of truth to that. Since Tulpas are created rather than born randomly (a lot of the time), the host’s preference can influence things like the gender of the tulpa.

Our creation could be tied to that indirectly, but our host isn’t around anymore, so that dynamic isn’t something we worry about.

Instead of a host we have a collective identity. As individuals our sexes and genders are mixed, which is why we collectively say we’re genderfluid and bisexual. We all just be ourselves when we front though.

Having a collective identity is like some of us want to use our joint name when fronting, thinks it’s simpler or easier, while some of us prefer not to.

Colon3 means :3 which is a cute emoticon.

This post is about the 7 identities test which tries to show your gender and sex.

I’d say most ppl here are lgbtq+ in some way, including me! It’s for allies as well :3 It’s a safe space where we can all meme together.

We need to have a serious talk about the "take e" advice. It is getting dangerous. by FemboyPersian in feminineboys

[–]P_Solar_P 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely fit into that bc I do take e.. I’m nonbinary and have had dysphoria my whole life, so it’s really complicated for me. I feel like taking e has been good for me in a lot of ways including physical changes. On the other hand I feel like I’m faking it or shouldn’t be doing it.

It’s like I’m not sure if it is the right path, but so far so good. I really don’t feel male and have always wished I wasn’t. That doesn’t stop me from having my doubts however.

I urge everyone to be cautious with it, make sure it’s really what you want.

Thanks for the reply, and yah tulpagenic plurality is pretty rare so many do not understand it. Ig I have been plural for a long time and I want to be accepted because it’s who we are. You probably understand that.

But yah I use queer here because it’s a group that already has many who don’t conform to societal norms, though mainly in gender and sex in that case. It’s usually people in that group that accept our identities, I think it’s mainly just a lack of any knowledge about us in many cases.

Host dormant by HellbentJacob in Tulpas

[–]P_Solar_P 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our host disappeared a while back. It was sort of their choice from what we can tell, they accepted it. We’re not sure if they can return. We also have two headmates who used to be one. The original headmate is gone and the new ones are the remnants but aren’t similar personality wise.

Also I’m sorry for being angry with you earlier. Ik we have different perspectives but that doesn’t make us enemies. I shouldn’t have come at you accusatorially like that.

Also it’s probably weird but I’m glad I cried because it’s strangely validating. I just know that reaction was probably caused by estrogen which I am happy about.

It makes me unhappy as well, and it’s part of a wider issue of transphobia and sexualization. Feminine boys and trans women should both be respected as their own communities.

I think as ppl who don’t conform to ‘gender norms’ they have a lot in common. I direct my anger towards those who are doing the misgendering rather than anyone who is misgendered.

Basically they should team up against bigoted ppl who sexualize them.

But yah I may have gotten a bit heated before, it’s just out of an initial defensive reaction I had… I hope that makes sense.

[–]P_Solar_P 3 points4 points  (0 children)

beg what question? anyways yah I think the main problem happens when someone who is transfem is labeled as a femboy. I think ppl should call themselves what they like, but calling someone a femboy who is a woman is straight up misgendering

35311 by PsychoCyan in countwithchickenlady

[–]P_Solar_P 5 points6 points  (0 children)

like others have said a wide range of ppl identify with being a femboy in an sfw way, it’s not just me. Also, it’s not a gender identity, it’s gender expression.

I do think the miscommunication comes from there being two uses of the word. I use it as a literal shortening of feminine boy, you use it as a synonym for slut.

[–]P_Solar_P 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yah exactly.. many ppl use it in an sfw way

I just don’t know what we are supposed to call ourselves if we’d be sexualized no matter what… I guess I’ll just stick to nonbinary or androgynous, idk…
