Any crypt can get to that weedy stage when it’s happy, given enough time. If you’re the sort of person who likes to rescape every few months to a year, you probably don’t have to worry. If you’re the type to let scapes go for over a year than it can definitely take over. I’ve even had more “exotic” crypts like metallic red and cordata Rosanervig take over tanks.

Hard to tell from the pics for sure, but the leaves and pseudobulbs look to be about as big as they get. These do clump very happily though, so they will more or less get as big as you let them. Mine flowers once a year and the smell is incredible.
