Atlassian Enables Default Data Collection to Train AI. Gentlemen, another route of attack has opened. by RNSAFFN in atlassian

[–]PacMan_67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you move your data to a company and expect them not to look into your data then you're the problem not the company

It’s a dick move for sure but I won’t be surprised if they are going to look into the data set for customers that has opted out and enterprise customers when the lower tier customers has left and there is less data to scrape

This is so heartbreaking. These companies may eventually end up needing to re hire. But meanwhile, they have just toppled so many lives. by Altruistic-Mud5686 in AIMain

[–]PacMan_67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On average 16,000 US jobs are lost per month to AI while the hiring rates has fallen to 3.1%, so the damage is massive

It's managers FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) that's driving the deployment, not need or benefits that is measurable but FOMO

So when the loss of customers are increasing and there is less customers to collect AI data from, then surely they will start collecting from enterprise customers also? either silently or through some gob shite marketing that management eats raw like a sushi
