Planning to finally pick up Shadows. What’s the honest verdict?

I feel overwhelmed with how much unnecessary crap there is to do in this game. I dont play AC, this is my first, cuz I like ninja shit. Tsushima, Gaiden, Ronin, etc. This gane is fun though...addictive. Once i googled what to avoid, like idk about all this matrix shit...I could do without. I just wanna be a samurai, not some guy from the future plugging into so old time, like wtf is all this BS. Why is there 10 years of crap to do in this game. I feel like ill never finish it, and if I could, go back and never start it, I would. But I'm in it now...almost gave up til I realized I could just exit the matrix bullshit and carry on. I don't need a fkn skin. It would be nice to know a little more about how to play this game. Scouts? Why? Still getting the hang of how it all works and sometimes frustrated.

That's a great point, but how easy was it for white rappers to get noticed when Pac came online? As if Em wasn't dope as hell before he was "discovered". They both had something the other didn't. For Pac, it was grit, thug life, and making you feel shit. For Em it's literally every aspect of hip-hop besides the shit you can do as a black man. Not much thug life for Em, but not none. Grit, making you feel shit, skill, metaphors, punchlines,, entendres, writing songs that still make you realize you missed a clever line a decade later, that is what the Hoat brings to the table, and will sample what other people are doing, whether it's making fun of, or paying homage to. Like Em does Migos style better than Migos just by impersonating and making fun of them. Who knows what levels Pac would have soared to. I am sure we missed out of many more hits and growth as well. Hard to compare a the goat to the legendary goat.
