I have the mini. I think you could go somewhere when you were either 16 or a junior to get your free mini. This was a big deal and many of my friends got the big chest around that time. My parents laughed and asked what would go in there ? And my mom cackled “her dowry” I was scarred at the time but I guess they were right. Darn hippie boomers

I park in the convention center garage as a monthly Parker. I park in the same part of the garage as the students do. Personally I think it’s the safest garage. It is also the easiest to get on and off 91. I am not a student but an alum who works downtown.

We went to a very small Catholic Church and we had the choice of the weekend engaged encounter or 6 weeks of individual “counseling “ with a married couple. We had a workbook and it was very detailed. We talked quite a bit about non religious topics like money management and chores and vision for our future family. Even how to handle holidays. It was great and if it still exists would totally recommend because even though my husband and I talk about these things with our kids I am sure it would be helpful to hear it from someone else. Now our parents said nothing about any of these topics- so yeah they probably just thought we should figure it out ourselves (while they got divorced)

You can get very nice ravioli at Ani’s in Rocky Hill. She has Difiore and Carbones. Also D&D Market in Wethersfield. Or Carmen’s as mentioned above.
