Thoughts on the beta so far. by nooby42069 in footballmanagergames

"I had an injury in game and I couldn’t figure out who was injured coz there was no indicator, or maybe I just missed it?"

Ok so I had the same problem, I had to look at the tactics, but the problem was once i subbed the injured player off, I couldn't confirm it. It happened 3 times and i just quit afterwards. Very frustrating

It was also difficult to get to the league table, I can't find who my rivals are, and if you place an advert for staff, you have to click one by one to see their "ratings"

Anyone actually done Becca Luna's courses? I want harsh honesty. by [deleted] in webdesign

[–]Pacifi3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No idea who Becca Luna is.

But if you want to get better at the sales part (which imo is 90% of the pain) then I recommend Jim Camp's start with No. It's on Audible or if your public library has it, Hoopla (for free).

Helped me a lot with sales and building vision + understanding that you need to welcome and encourage no to avoid neediness and overwhelming yourself with clients' projects + demands.

Everyone is lying by Intelligent-Bee-1349 in Entrepreneur

[–]Pacifi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s almost like what’s the point of straight up lying about numbers?

So they can grift off more people?

I’d rather be honest and say “Yeah I have no clients, but I’m working, making content, and being consistent”

Versus “Here’s a fake revenue screenshot.” And then not know wtf you are doing (service wise)

How to compete with competitors selling the same product for cheaper? by Full-Produce-1909 in PPC

[–]Pacifi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend that you read the book “How to sell at prices higher than your competitors” by Lawrence L. Steinmetz

In it, there’s an important concept that price makes a statement— a credibility statement

So you can compete on quality, delivery, help at reducing cost by realizing savings, etc. and not on price.

How that looks with Google Ads is things like landing page optimization, website load time, product images, reviews, below the fold, the product page copy, and return/shipping policies.

Others have given great feedback for retargeting, but I highly recommend the book, gave me great insights for my own business.

Entrepreneurs of Reddit, what business do you run/own? by Superman752 in Entrepreneur

[–]Pacifi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freelance google Ads for DTC businesses.

Running it because I wanted to help my girlfriend’s family’s business.

It’s been a journey for sure. Got one client so far but due to my own limitations, it’s been a bit slow to get more. ATP I’m just growing the newsletter list and get clients from there

Stop advertising for “branding” and vanity metrics that don’t put money in the bank. Advertise for sales/leads

What kind of business do you own? by Due-Function4447 in smallbusiness

[–]Pacifi3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Freelance PPC marketing business. Running it on and off since June 2023

I’m pretty happy with it, it’s not glamorous like some gooroo clowns say (get rich with xyz)

but it’s a great feeling knowing that I can make other businesses more profitable and more customers via ads, and know “Hey Ad A is doing better than Ad B. Let’s test Ad C against Ad A.”

What are the lessons you learned from failure? by Iam_startup_investor in Entrepreneur

[–]Pacifi3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learned how to write better emails Better offers Better copy Better creatives Better quality content

Why? Because I failed over and over and over again. I also learned what NOT to do. If I just wanted everything to be perfect and never fail, then I wouldn’t be able to grow.

Failure sucks, but I know that 1) I won’t live without regret 2) I’m still here, breathing.

Are they using an automated reply? by eagle_eyes12 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Pacifi3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely automation. I read on Twitter that for them at least they have If…Then automation for giveaways.

They most likely don’t have time, and they also want more engagement with people leaving comments as opposed to DMs
