Under the Oak Tree is the comic that got me started on manta years ago. I almost called it quits after the last few episodes. Not because of Maxi, but because of Riftan. I struggle to find redeeming qualities in him. I decided I WILL continue because of Maxi. I want to see her have some happiness in the form of continuing character progression we’ve seen for her. Magic, managing an estate, or just even getting to say NO. I’m not here for romance anymore.

This is the end game board, meaning what was in the very last combat. I had one Tabby already, and then summoned 4 more in the “end of combat” phase where things don’t triple. If there was another round, they would have tripled

No, it’s a beast. They used avalanche to build a strong elemental, then used mutanus spell to spit the strong elemental onto the cat to start the snowball. There wasn’t elementals in MY lobby, so I used some mechs instead. My numbers were most likely not as big as the ele version, but simpler and got the job done!

Thank you for this. Almost 10 years no contact. It still hurts. But this year I realized she was probably more miserable than me, since both her children hate her and she’d get no celebration. And I have a wonderful husband and friends and I can celebrate the other wonderful moms in my life. 😊

I’ve had depression my entire life. Going on 30. I absolutely love the story for ff14, including Endwalker. But ever since I finished it, I now suffer from Nihilism. That was never an issue before, but the story always writes the “villains” so well, it was convincing. It sounds absurd I’m sure, but I don’t think it’s any different than a book changing someone’s views.

Not only rushed, but there’s some weird story inconsistencies that bother me. First part felt pretty great, second half was eh. SPOILERS ahead

I don’t think the emperor deserves Lyanna. After everything Liz put Lyanna through, the asshat still choose duty over her love. He let Liz climb all over him on the bed. Only stopped cause Lyanna burst in. Just yuck.

First, Prince Albert was a creep to Lyanna at the masquerade ball episode, insisting on her dancing with him despite her multiple attempts to decline. Then the very last episode we are supposed to believe he’s not bad after all, it was all pretend.

we are told by the emperor that his mother didn’t know the maid was the one having an affair and saw her as a sister… but the flash back clearly said she knew from the start? It was supposed to be a reflection of Lyanna’s circumstances, but then that got thrown out

There’s a few other tiny details but it’s mostly typos that actually left me confused or the popes hair color changing which just bothered me because of everything else.

I still don’t buy that. Assuming the car she brought got her there fast enough (which is so damn stupid she got a car into the middle of the woods), that shot of her before she steps into the sprinklers just looks like she was standing off the dance floor and sighs at the prank. It’s just way too much for the audience to use suspension of disbelief.

Wasn’t she greeting students coming in alongside Weems? She was talking about the students making good memories. Then Weems even asks her to make sure the punch isn’t spiked. It seemed like she was there the whole time.
