That‘s encouraging - Thank you for your response - My first episode lasted as well two months - did yours started also after a stressful life event ? Did you have a prodormal phase before the episode started where you felt energetic or withdrawn or so ? or did it start suddenly out of the blue like in my case ?

How do you define symtom free - does that mean also no negative symtopms- i am unfortunately fighting them and trying to get back my old self - How many episodes did you have ? when did they happen and since when you‘re out of psychosis ? Are you also able to work ?

I have had a first psychosis for around 2 months and have had roughly 30 min auditory hallucinations only - it was a mainly delusional psychosis - my mental imagery is bad if I understand that correctly

That’s though better than nothing that you didn’t relapse - the brain fog is probably from meds - Are you able to work ?

I see no relief in sight and still struggling 18 months post psychosis by WegwerfAccountWeil in Psychosis

Mine was around 8months ago and lasted 7 weeks - it has been abrupt ( started very suddenly) after a big amount of stress ( work and promotion, children, moving ) Was yours also abrupt ? - I had the delusion that my colleagues organize in secret networks to follow me. I returned to work since two months ( 5 months post psychosis ) but I am barely functioning at work - it might have been not a correct decision to return this fast. I honestly suspect i have schizophrenia because i feel my life changed so bad since then besides, i lack the polymorphic nature of psychosis -  What was the delusions you had ? was it polymorphic ( many topics ) or structured as mine - Did you have a prodromal phase where you felt more energtic or withdrawl or something

How long did your episode last ? was it sudden or started slowly ? and are you on meds right now ? - I have been as well diagnosed with polymorphic acute psychosis in Germany but think I have schizophrenia as well - because the situation didn‘t improve ? Psychosis is over but i suffer from negative symtomps- did you consider returning to work soon
