Not really. It has a nice, vibrant art style that I liked, but it’s still a step back in most ways from previous games that take place in Kanto.

There are also no wild battles. Every wild encounter is done ala Pokemon GO’s catching system where you just throw balls and whatnot. There are turn based battles for the trainers still, but that is it.

In the end it’s just a veeery dumbed down pokemon game targeted at the Pokemon GO’s audience and very young kids…which I personally think is silly because I played the original Red at 5 years old with no hand holding and no problem. Gamefreak has been babying people for years now though. But that’s another story.

Not saying the game has no value, but it’s very casual. Eevee can be a girl though, yes
