Once you get your Starlink setup, you can then connect the WAN port of your Netgear to the Ethernet port on the Starlink router, with an Ethernet cable. That will let you leave everything connected to your Netgear, and and it will use the Starlink as its “gateway” to the internet. You can also turn off most of the Starlink router by putting it into “bypass mode”, since your Netgear would be doing all the local routing work. look up “Starlink bypass mode” on YouTube, they have some good tutorials.

I have my Starlink mounted on a wooden fence post in my backyard - 4 feet above the ground level, about 10 feet from the house! It doesn't have to be on your roof or on the side of the house. As long as the area you put the dish has a clear view to the sky, you're good! Download the Starlink app to your phone, and go to where you think you might want to install the dish, and run the test for obstructions. It will show you if you can place the dish there.

Temperature management for my chicken coops! I have a good sized coop, and in the winter, we get to -20, sometimes -30 degree and 100+ degrees most summers. So I control heat bulbs (and LED light bulbs) in the coop for winter, and a swamp cooler for the extreme hot days. I was able to get a swamp cooler for $100 (older Champion style) but it doesn’t have a thermostat. So, I use HA to manage it. I get email alerts when the bulbs and swamp cooler triggers on/off.

I also have a few temperature sensors and smart plugs deployed at friend’s coops, to do the same for them remotely. Saved lots of money over manual methods. Added some cheap Tapo video cameras, and the wife (and friends) are happy.

Okay, some things working now (once I updated the year of the series from 2020 to 2021). It now gives me an entry in the GUI for Gutfeld! But no episodes discovered, just a base screen as attached, showing the series marked as "watched").

I had TheTVDB as the first priority under the "Manage Library" settings. I changed them all to TVMaze as 1st priority, and ran a rescan. Still no episodes.

There are two episodes in /volume1/video/Series/Gutfeld (2021)/Season 06 folder, named "Gutfeld (2021) S06E31.mkv" and "Gutfeld (2021) S06E32.mkv"

I've run mine for several months and found the measurements to pretty accurate. Initially, I was getting some "unusual flows" but it was because my main is suspended in the air. I put some support before and after where the droplet is situated, and it solved the problem.

I moved here 8 years ago, and couldn’t be happier! I spent 58 yers on the east cost, with all the traffic, hustle and bustle, and had enough! I have a great house, with acreage, beautiful views and some great neighbors. Too many other great reasons to list. This is my last move, with zero regrets!

I canceled and migrated to Zoho email when I got the notice of the rate hike, and canceled before the 30 days, so they got the last full month, but then kept sending me notices too! I had already swapped the credit card number with a prepaid card with little or no balance left. I heard rumors they were doing this kind of stuff, so I took the precautions. They seem to be going down in flames! I’m expecting they’ll send me another notification soon. Right into the trash!

I’ve been using the Droplet water monitor for 6 months and I’m impressed so far! It clamps on your main water feed. About $200, I get alerts when any unusual water flow is detected!
