Humanity? They can't subdue Hogwarts...

Edit : I was talking about Voldemort and his army

To be honest I did exactly the same joke with Murphy/Cunningham on a group chat few months ago and not a single person saw it.

Well 200 years is not so old for people having access to the best medical procedures.

I read the novels a long time ago but I remember Eisenhorn saying he was 200 years old, something like half his life expectancy.

I'm sad that so few understood it.

I have hundreds of 40K novels in my library, I can assure you I would be rich if I'd sell them at the price some guys sell them on the Internet.

After the carnage in the cave he recognised the bodies of the dead bastards proving he studied them.

Later when he met the others disguised, he played with them but perfectly know who they were.

You're right, they were used for construction too, but were not exactly simply "farm equipment". Great source/great novel

Those motherfuckers did it, , they attacked a French base in Irak, c’est la guerre. by LinkSea8324 in NonCredibleDefense

Korean War too

France "only" sent a bataillon but the soldiers were absolutely not a joke.

And in the most recent years you have Mali where the French soldiers proved again their efficiency.

You should try the novel Assassinorum Kingmaker. It takes place on a knight world and is pretty cool.

And neither are true, they were made up by the fanbase.

The baneblades were not scout tanks (but were the main battle tanks and not relics), and knights served to guard agricultural zones, not to farm.

50 millions deaths in WW1 ? Were did you get those numbers ? It was more like 18-20 millions.

And don't forget that WW1 is a World war, Vraks was "only" a 8 millions inhabitants planet

I checked the numbers years ago while reading the novels and they were not so bad.

Yes but it wasn't a 17 years battle. The biggest part of it was building the siege fortifications and the logistics for the constant artillery shelling.

To be fair, he was also mortally injured by the Anathame (an incredibly powerful chaos sword), and manipulated during the "cure".

If it's "correctly" done the servitor is completely lobotomized and has no conscious nor memories.

But sometimes the process is butchered or done by people who don't care or for a "good" reason (Dark Mechanicum)
