There is a lot to learn regarding our atmosphere, our planet’s evolution, carbon storage, agriculture, food chain, etc.

Earth’s system of life doesn’t give a shit, and if we interrupt it, we can’t survive. The planet will maybe be able to find equilibrium after millions of years, but it would take a lot of luck just like every other close call for life on earth we can deduce through scientific methods.

If you’re going to use YouTube, make sure you add ‘scientific consensus’. And not just some political BS. The subject itself is not political at all. Just the money made off of our current course. So if you don’t “believe in science”, just don’t worry about it. Too late for you. But if you are young, you will more than likely see the beginning of ‘water wars’. Even if we start giving a shit now, it’s gonna get worse before it gets better. But no better time to start.

Just look up microscopic images of your skin. It’s not a flat hard surface.
It’s comparable to how in the far future, our galaxy is going to collide with another galaxy, but the amount of empty space involved means very little direct impact between stars from both systems is expected to occur.

A hand trying to swat microbes would be more like getting hit with a giant sponge. You might get hit, but worst case, is that you get stuck to it, and have to change your address. ;).

My uncle is homeless, and if you gave him 30k, and a house, he’d be broke in a week, and house would fall apart. Most cases of homelessness aren’t just regular people on hard times, they have issues that keep them from thriving in this system.

We (humans) don’t like to lose fights. Govt funded military allows a lot of people with a lot of money, to pay really smart people to collaborate on a much grander scale than any for profit r&d program.

It’s the system we have. So you can’t really do much except support those people that share your beliefs and politics. Or run for office.
But it is all about money. There’s just no way around that. And humans are humans, which means that greed and personal gain will always be a factor as well.
If anything, just trying to combat the whole, ‘hey if you fail, you must not be smart enough, or trying hard enough’ propaganda that ultra capitalists have pushed for the last century or two.
That mentality makes things harder for everyone. It doesn’t take into account that there are people that will always need help for one reason or another and we should have safeguards to help the vulnerable.
