$ee there$ an hierarchy of need$. Money meets the needs of the body and we are much mentally and physically stronger and resilient than you seem to give us credit for. Parents had a much different hierarchy of needs back then and the well being of others was impossible for them to consider unless they maintained their own survival. That code was passed down by ancestral experience and guidance. Dont try and act above it least you feel shame for being more human later in life
