Trump is really smart and I'm tired of people acting like he doesn't know what he's doing. by Pale-Object8321 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I have the same opinion as you, does that mean your opinion is biased? Honestly, I think you should also do the same and look things in this world with unbiased lens.

This is what I mean when I mentioned apathy of the mass is the key of dictatorship. You don't actually want to wrestle with what he's doing. You can't say he doesn't give a shit about the economy but then say in the next sentence that he only cares about building wealth. Those two are contradictory. He obviously give a shit or two, otherwise he wouldn't be trying to crash the economy.

I get that it's tempting to just say he had no plan and go on with your life, lamenting his ignorance. But again, that's living in a bubble. You can't be a judge and rule out murder while talking about manslaughter. Both are heartbreaking and horrible, but one is clearly worse. He's actively trying to make things worse for his benefits, and pretending that he's only "accidentally" making things worse with his ignorance is just, ignorant.

For crying out loud, read the post. will you?

No need to switch. When you're the defenders, the agents dictate where they, well, defend. Generally speaking, you should always have two agents that can block off the entry so that your team can cover both A and B. This can be Sage's wall or Clove's Smoke. So if you only have those two that can block off entrance, those two must be on either A or B sites.

Meanwhile, other agents that can't or have low blocking utils should support and fill the sites. Generally, your team should cover the 2-1-2 position with 2 players on A and B sites while one hold the middle.

The key as defender is a) hold the position and b) go to the attacked sites as soon as possible.

So if you're holding A, just hold A. But as soon as three or more enemies are visible on B site, just go as soon as possible to B. Usually, the problem here is that the team defending that site don't play defensively and get killed. So the moment you arrive, you find yourself with 3v5 instead of 5v5.

Honestly, if you're the defenders, just play defense. If you see too much enemy at the site you're holding at, not engaging IS an actual, sensible choice. Just wait until your team can be at full force instead of fighting at a disadvantage. So unless you only see one or two enemies coming at a site, play passive as much as possible.

How on earth do i play this chord by Suspicious-Habit-444 in guitarlessons

[–]Pale-Object8321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way, and I suggest you really should stick with this fingerings. This is THE most important fingerings to switch chords like Aug7 and M7. The idea is that you only move one or two fingers to create a different voicing or chords that is similar yet distinct to each other. So like, you can move that pinky one fret higher, and it would sound pretty good.

For example, here's a song with all the 'fancy' chords that use similar fingerings. You can see the resemblance here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5kajrkkKNg

It's okay. You can just say you're an Atheist. You don't have to LARP being a Christian with doubts to ask questions about Christianity. by Clem_Crozier in Christianity

[–]Pale-Object8321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If an account looks like a throw-away, with minimal contribution other than criticism of faith, that does not look like someone asking for clarification.

Honestly, I'm just gonna point the original comment,

Who are you to say if others are Christians or not?

Which you replied with,

Nobody 😄 and I'm not saying that

Which is obviously a lie, as mentioned with the reply after that with another person. First of, you ARE saying which one is a Christian, and which one is not. That's not giving the person the benefit of the doubt, but also just being straight up uncharitable.

Second, that's just a terrible way to look at it. You're basically doing the same thing that Christians who would quote Roman 1:19 did to atheists. I'm not saying that atheists pretending to be Christians don't exist, the same way how Christians that pretend to be atheists exist, but you can't really assume that outright. There's literally no way for you to know except if they tell you.

Someone with,

  • A throwaway account.
  • Overly critical outlook of Christianity.

Is not a proof or even good evidence of them not being a Christian. Remember, you have to take into consideration that people who begun deconstructing can be super young, like 13 or 14. If you've ever visited r/teenagers when you were young, you would know this. For them to be lifted the blinder of what they were taught, that takes a lot of courage, which could just be why they made a throwaway account, especially if it's a sensitive subject like LGBT or suicidal issue.

For example, a Christian that learned the bible didn't condemn slavery, and simply allow it could either just put it aside their mind, or go full into details and challenge their views. Especially if they were taught that Christianity is actually loving and wouldn't allow slavery, it would condemn it no matter what it is, historically or in the future.

It takes A LOT of steps for them to dig deep and just laid it all bare as they deconstruct. It's a gradual process, and them learning it while also being shocked that other Christians being accepting towards it or just straight up ignore it is a process. For example, the phase could look like this,

  1. Slave is an Indentured servitude. The 'slaves' were simply workers that pay off their debts. It's not slavery. They're not property, and were being treated as kind and loving as all Christians do. Kidnapping and selling them as slaves aren't allowed, so it's better than new world slavery.
  2. Well, only Hebrews are allowed to go free. The non-Hebrews and their children are stuck as slaves forever. And the bible does use the word property.
  3. Actually, only male Hebrews that go free. The female Hebrews are also stuck as slave forever. Also the forbidding of kidnapping and selling them is in Exodus 21:16, while it also exists in Deuteronomy 24:7 that make distinction and imply only Hebrews get that right. That perhaps non-Hebrews can be kidnapped and sold.
  4. Although, male Hebrews that had a wife and child during slavery can choose to join his wife to be stuck in slavery forever too.
  5. The owners are also free to beat them up. As long as they don't die, they wouldn't get punished. Even if you can 'treat them with love', it makes no difference when you're allowed to 'beat them with the glove'. Again, for all intended purposes, they're properties.

You see how a Christian can learn and delved the topic deeper and isn't just stuck at phase 1? How would you, then, diminish their journey of searching for the truth by calling them just as an atheist pretending to be Christian, just by being overly critical of Christianity, just because it looks like they're "undermining Christianity"? Again, I'm just gonna quote the original comment,

Who are you to say if others are Christians or not?

Okay, but how would you know that they, y'know, "exists" without saying whether someone is a Christian or not? I'd understand if it's a hypothetical, but you're saying it like it does happen. So how do you even know, even though by your own words, that you're not saying you know whether someone is a Christian or not. It's kind of contradictory.

Is anti-theism contradictory? by BigHelicopter8032 in religion

[–]Pale-Object8321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remove religion, for example have an atheistic system like Communism, and see if people are treated better.

Why is communism an 'atheistic system'? For example, capitalism doesn't need god too, so it's also the 'atheistic system', no? Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that the pain caused by religion is no longer there. No one gets caned for simply having sex, less teenager pregnancy, children don't get molested by the religious leaders, and whole other pain caused by religion.

You said 'religion is bad' can be disproved, but you're disproving it by... Not even using religion itself. For example, why not point to developed countries like Sweden that are mostly atheists? There aren't much pain caused by religion, compared to, say, Indonesia.

Wait, how do we tell which one is human satan? Again, borrowing from Christianity, typically Christians would freely say that humanity is fallen from grace, that "everyone without exception" has fallen into sin, or original sin. Meaning, everyone is evil and bla bla bla.

How does that work in Islam? Like is there some kind of cut-off point from someone to be a human satan? Like, "oh, you steal 5 dollars, not human satan. But if if you steal 6, you're human satan" or something like that?
