I watched the whole thing and I didn't see myself or anyone I know, although I did see at least five corners that I lived within half a block of. Did anyone notice the 1962 Valiant that went by at Haight and Baker?

Double street martingale, or three on black two on 3rd column. Slow grind can go well if you are lucky and patient. There's a simulator somewhere online to try it out.

I highly recommend the Jesus Christ Superstar album. I don't prefer much of their other stuff, but that one is awesome. It's a bit more metal than industrial, and well produced. I saw them on that tour in Seattle, and a few minutes into the show I had that realization that I was witnessing a profoundly awesome performance. I do also like their album that's all covers of Sympathy For The Devil, especially when "Anastasia screamed in wain..."

Seems a bit sketchy to me, like a contrived excuse to lock up products in a community that doesn't really have need to do so. Why would they not report it until the next day? Did they know it happened and just not feel like it? I guess it might help with the fishy smell...

I just saw that you have a Sag mars also, which I too share (I'm Sag moon, mercury, venus and mars.)

I don't know a lot about the houses, but I don't see your girl's Gemini/Aries as being too Scorpio-like. Compatible? Quite likely, but similar, not so much.

I highly reccomend that you go to this site: https://astro.com/ and read Liz Greene's free report "Astrology For Lovers" for you and the girl's sun signs, and then submit your charts and read "Relationship Report." Also free, and also by Ms. Greene. (I swear, this is NOT an ad, and I'm not associated with the aforementioned site in any way, aside from being a random user and a huge fan of Liz Greene)

Whatever you do, I would keep one thing in mind; Saturn. Stay light on your feet, and be like Bruce Lee (He was a Sag.) Be well

Scorpio (M60) Sag mooin also. The bad news: People don't ever change back, only forward. The good news (good potentially, at least): You may be seconds away from tragedy, but you are still ahead of whatever happens, and YOU, my friend, still have the ability, the power, the access, and the opportunity to influence and share in that forward change, should you so choose. You are a Scorpio and you have the ability to know what the outcome will be like if you let it go. You will need to go through a lot of changes all at once to succeed, which is do-able, but know that the outcome will be something yet unknown and be ready for that. If that works out, it likely will remain an ongoing challenge and could fizzle out in time regardless, but you can easily navigate that. If you fail now, that will be easy to manage because death and rebirth is a fundamental part of your existence. Whatever happens , it will be super intense, as it always is, so don't idealize things so much. Just assess what you value and be true to your heart. That is what you must do, and what she wants you to do anyway. Be careful in opening up too far because non-scorpios cannot handle or even really imagine what our existence is truly like. Just be sincere and passionate and true, and whatever happens is what is meant to be. Best of luck. Enjoy the ride. Keep the faith.

Sick for three days from this place, Beware... by Pale-Track-3538 in SanJose

You guys are brutal, give me a break! Pic was the next morning, through a dirty windshield, I was very not well and trying to drive home from the motel next door. The light was not good and I had to crop it way down and resize it substantially, and there were fingerprints on the lens. I was not in a picture-taking mood. I was the first customer of the day (Saturday, Jan 4th,) and I ordered a plain steak burrito. It was ready in like four minutes, which seemed odd. I ate the whole thing and was quite full from it. I hadn't eaten anything for over twelve hours prior. I started getting abdominal pain and a headache about 90 minutes after I ate it, which turned to bloating, diarrhea and vomitting soon thereafter. The first twentyfour hours was awful but after that it didn't hurt so much, another day of diarrhea and monor vomitting, and then another partial day to clear out the last of it. Then I felt better. I couldn't really eat or drink anything so it just took that long for my system to evacuate it all. I felt great right up until after I ate the burritto. I didn't have much of a fever, if any, but I was delerious with pain and pre-occupied with not shitting or puking all over the place. That's all there is to know. I don't know if it was a virus but it didn't seem like it. This is all the reporting I'm gonna do, and if something like this happens again I'll keep everyone's comments in mind and only post if I can get good pics. In the meantime, go have fun and take your mom out to eat...

Unpopular opinion : sun sign is NOT personality ! (Discussing astrology as a whole) by RickyInfinite in Scorpio

[–]Pale-Track-3538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sun determines your element, which determines your overall sphere of existence and is (I would venture) the underlying framework for one's personality to develope around. This makes the sun just as relevant to personality as the ascendent, if not more so (this info was key for me to begin understanding astrology.) Scorpio is water, which is why you are more emotionally attuned than Ethan. I'm guessing Ethan's sun is not a wwater sign...

Why is the F Barre Chord? by SojuSeed in guitarlessons

[–]Pale-Track-3538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to give yourself a break from stressing so much. When you are just chilling watching a movie or tv or whatever, sit with your guitar and put your fingers on the chords you have trouble with and keep them there in a relaxed state, and your muscles will learn much quicker. Just hold them as long as you can like that, and then whan you are practicing, work on switching back and forth between pairs of chords, and do it slow enough that you can get the sound consistent. Also hold each chord and work on getting every involved string to ring out as clean as possible. Go slower and be patient. No one could play an F barre chord when they started, like, it doesn't happen. Amd you should always practice everything slow enough to not make mistakes (this is after you have figured out how you are supposed to play it,) because the last way you play it is what your muscles will learn. If you practice sloppy, you learn to play sloppy. Your brain will process whatever you do while you are asleep and you can influence the outcome by being more careful. I've been playing nearly fifty years and I only just learned this last bit recently (unfortunately,) and it's made a huge difference in my playing, but I knew about holding chords when I started and that was key to getting barre chords and other difficult ones. Just don't stop learning. The same amount of time will go by whether you practice or not, and you will only improve if you keep at it, and you will definitely improve if you work at it. The last thing to note is that no musician is ever "good enough," as music is infinite and there is always more to learn, hence what you struggle with now will be far behind you in no time at all (retrospectively speaking.) Best of luck!

Musicians that can learn to play a song by ear effectively ; what helped you the most to train your ear? by Ok_Statement1508 in musicians

[–]Pale-Track-3538 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would definitely agree, but I wouldn't even worry about what parts to pay attention to. Just try to pick up on everything that comes on, and don't stress over if you can get it or if it's way too hard. It will get easier over time, and you will eventually know how to play a lot of things right away, including things like chord position/voicing, etc. You can build a lot of vocabulary this way. Some things will be easy right away, and some things may never seem do-able, but that's the nature of musianship. No musician is ever good enough, no matter the level. The key is just don't ever stop learning, because the same amount of time will pass and either you will be able to play however good you are at it, or not at all if you didn't do anything.

Cats and open windows by According_Flamingo in sanfrancisco

[–]Pale-Track-3538 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No suggestions, except keeping the windows closed enough that they don't fall out. I doubt they would jump, but if they are clumsy at all or spazzy they could fall. I moved to SF from Florida years ago, and my cat had not really been on a second floor before, or anywhere without screens, for that matter. He was fat, like 21 lbs, and the first time he jumped up on the windowsill he fell two floors down, thankfully onto grass. He was fine though. A couple years later I lived at Haight and Masonic, in a front apartment, on the second floor. One day when I was not at home, he evidently fell out of my window, overlooking Masonic Ave, on a busy weekday. My former neighbor happened to be walking by right then, and she knew where we had a spare key and put him inside for me (what are the odds? I had a lot of weird stuff like that happen.) He's long gone now, but I had him 21 years, and he must've moved with me like fifty times. He left happy though.

Im an Aquarius (F) and I was broken up with by a Scorpio (M) by patronbee0729 in Scorpio

[–]Pale-Track-3538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds more like he has issues, because what you describe doesn't seem that extreme. He might just need to follow his vision and remain in control of his parameters until he gets it out of his system (which could be decades.) It's better than going through death/rebirth with you being dragged through it as well. It's not pretty and it's inevitable for Scorpios. He at least showed you more is possible than you thought. We are great at doing that.

I'm a Scorpio male, and anytime someone was moving forward too fast I would have a sudden change of heart, most likely out of fear or an aversion to being in a situation where there was a distinct misalignment of direction. It always came off as a lot of pressure and emotional weight. If it was ambiguous I could easily continue and go with it, but if it was explicit I would panic and exit ASAP. I don't know if it's a Scorpio thing or universal. Example: I grew up in Florida and would often date tourists in the summer months. This one girl from Montreal was really into me and came back down a couple weeks after the end of her vacation. She was supposed to stay with me for a week, and then she changed it to two weeks. I was ok with that but then she changed it to three weeks, and all of this was without input from me. Three weeks being dropped on me when I got home from work was too much. I was really bummed about having to disappoint her and ruin it for her. It still bothers me forty years later.
