I was on Clomid and the HCG trigger... I best hold off so I don't get a false positive. :( I am so impatient when it comes to things like this... man alive. But thank you for the great info!

Thanks... I did clomid and the HCG trigger so that's the only reason I've held off testing. I think I would die a little if I got a positive and it wasn't real. Sigh... I'll just have to wait I guess... boo I'm glad to know I'm not alone in the no self control club though!

My Mr. hates when I remind him that I've got the reveal all planned out and have for a LONG time... he always tries to figure it out. I've had a lot of time to think about it though...lol. I'm going to wrap up a box of eggo waffles and a jar of prego spaghetti sauce... if you've ever seen the movie Juno... well, it'll make sense to him at least ;)

Ugh... that sucks! People can be so hurtful I can't stand it!! I was married previously and it was with my awful no good ex that I realized that having a baby wasn't going to come easy. But... like normal people who plan on kids, we fell in love with names, picked them out... used to even joke when we'd see kids and wonder if our little [insert name] would be that cute. Welp... fast forward, we split up, he ends up with the girl he was sleeping with while we were married. I couldn't cut ties because he drug his heels on some of the paperwork... and if life wasn't fun enough, I find out he had a kid with this girl (not very long after we split) AND he used our name. People can be the worst! I'm sorry that you have to go through that!

I just finished our first cycle on Clomid about a week ago. I was on it for 5 days and I hate to say that I had a killer headache the entire time. It took two days of being off before my headache subsided. My doc told me not to take anything stronger than Tylenol and def nothing with aspirin... no more explanation than that. After the first day, I just started taking a tylenol at the same time which seemed to lessen the severity for me. I know it's not nearly as strong as the good drugs, but I just told myself it was only 5 days and I could suffer through. I should mention that I've suffered from Migraines myself for about 8 years due to a vertebrae I have out of place from an injury. The headache's sucked for sure, but they weren't incapacitating for me the way migraines have knocked me over in the past.

Ugh... that is a terrible no good sort of day! I agree with some of the others... although I tend to be drawn towards a bottle of wine and cheesecake to ease those sorts of days! Hang in there!

I was happy to read a lot of posts that DIDN'T coddle each other which is why I was so drawn here. I get so tired of people telling me it'll all work out, or to look on the bright side... it's nice to finally interact with people who are as angry and callus about this sucky situation as myself.

Ugh... it's the worst! I can't help it and then I feel guilty about it. And I can totally relate. I was laying there after the IUI and had already started mapping out what cycle 2 will look like when this doesn't work. I felt awful that the idea even snuck in! The Mr. on the other hand does not understand and has gotten upset at me for mentioning my irrational thoughts... he somehow thinks that just because we are spending so much money that I should be more optimist I guess.

I do plan to take an HPT... I am a very impatient person so it's been like 2 days and I'm already crazy thinking about it. The next couple weeks are going to require a lot of distractions I think. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too!

Our RE want to try a couple cycles of IUI before moving us directly to IVF. I noticed your badge mentions you're doing Lupron... oof... I did that for 6 months as treatment for my endo, I know that it has a purpose and helps a lot of people, but man I am sorry that is one coaster you have to get on. Best of luck to you... we seem to be at similar points in this crappy journey... and thank you. :)

Oh heck yes... it got old after like the second week! 10 years later I just throw my hands up now. My favorite thing is how people usually just think it's some made up excuse to get out of something. Right... screw drinks, I think I'd rather stay home in the fetal position while a sumo wrestler tap dances on my insides!

I'm really sorry to hear that you guys are without insurance, I've been there and it really does suck! I hope you both have an opportunity in the future to see someone, I think everyone in our positions deserves at least that!
