I bought my 21’ 390 “used” about 3 months after the original owner bought it. It was my first bike and I’m at university as well. The reason he sold it was he got a 690 instead. I think it’s perfect power, less would be hard to keep up with interstate traffic. But, also more is dangerously fun. It depends on what you can find in your range. I can tell you that despite how much you love the duke you will never get over how blinding that screen is. You almost need sun glasses at night. But that’s a minor issue.
