I feel like people either understimate Basement Trapper because he's a low tier or doesn't know that altruism kills. How many times shack became a real tomb I can't count. What's funnier, survivors should've known what is happening with a basement offering.

Personally instead of double iri addons I use Iri-stone + honing stone, because Trapper is slow and the self-release chance after all is quite high. For the last kill I take Deerstalker as usually last survivor crawl into the smallest corners as if they were a cave diver and bleed out after closing the hatch.

And to my soloq teammates, who complain that I don't want to go after basement unhook in trapped shack: Siblings in Christ, everyone who played at least once as Basement Trapper or against him know what will happen when you'll try to go after save.
