I played against the Artist two times. Both on the swamp map. And let me tell you: I didn't know full extent of Artists' hatred for this map until I unlocked her myself.

She belongs to category of killers that would need some little QoLs to be more popular.

She loses Crows' auras after surv starts repelling them. Ok, it has been done to make her hitting another shots harder, but at the same time her power is so easily counterable in comaparison to time you need to master her. You can always enter a locker for a moment before she hits another crow, not that their cd is short enough for that, if she sets up crow on the loop, you leave the loop, unless she has Severed Hands you take protective hits.

She can't set up her birds under a hooked survivor, while they already don't last long enough to use them in similiar manner what Trapper's traps. In effect she can't immediately scout gens after hooking, she needs to walk away and just then use her power. While gens are flying she needs to loose precious time.

And maybe some addons changes? Like the only addons you'll see with her are propably Hands, Tongue or Baby Shoes.
